i included some spoilers of some of the character names that'll be in my next book (a bill cipher x reader!)

hi i'll also mention again that there might be some errors because i won't be editing that much :)

"[Name]!" Pacifica pouted. "Can you persuade Mabel to, at least, fit me in a more casual piece of clothing because this," she pulled the fabric of her lace dress, "is totally not me."

"Paz, you just want to wear a tacky rainbow dress," said Gideon outside the room you and Pacifica were in.

"Shut up!" Pacifica retorted.

You laughed at that, then stopped after Pacifica glared at you. You cleared your throat before saying, "I don't think Mabel would agree to anything that you propose, Pacifica. Nor do I think she even has something rainbow in your collection."

Pacifica groaned. "Just give me my shoes, [Name]. Thank god that diva queen gave me flats or I'll be dying when the ball starts."

Pacifica wore a pink, sleeveless dress that fits her perfectly. Thank god Mabel had something appropriate in her closet or Pacifica would be on a rampage.

The door bursted open as soon as Mabel put on her flats and Mabel stormed in.

"Why aren't you both dressed yet? The winter gala starts in 20 minutes!" Mabel demanded. "A girl takes at least 30 minutes to get ready if she's rushing. Pacifica, get out and take your cousin down to the ballroom and check with my brother. [Name], you're staying and getting ready."

Mabel, of course, had already dressed. She was wearing the same jeweled headband with a navy blue floor-length dress.

You saw Pacifica roll her eyes before leaving, taking one last item to complete her outfit: a gray purse with her that held a sedative for Grace.

You crossed your arms as Mabel eyed you. "You're going to wear white," she said before diving into her large walk-in closet.

You sat down on one of the lounge chairs in the room but before you know it, in just a few seconds, Mabel came out with the most inappropriate dress you've ever seen.
