connors pov

lately my girlfriend of 6 years, y/n has been sick. she's had a fever but nothing has gotten too out of hand so i'm hoping she becomes better soon. we are in our shared one story house, watching one of y/ns favorite shows.

"connor please help me" y/n says quickly sounding panicked. i know what's happening cause it's happened multiple times today

"okay baby" i say rushing up and walking over to her side of the bed and helping her up.

the regular routine for the past 2 days of helping her up, slowly walking to the bathroom because i didn't want to rush her and letting her release all the contents of her stomach out became tiring for us both. of course i didn't mind helping my girl out but i wish this wasn't the way i had to help her because i hate seeing her in pain or discomfort. y/n is one of those people who will not complain about her symptoms unless it's serious and she thinks she needs medical help. which has luckily only happened once that i've been with her when she hurt her wrist during volleyball in high school. as i was saying, this trip to the bathroom wasn't like the others. y/n pushed past me and bolted to the bathroom. i rush to her side to hold her hair back and rub her back

"shh let it all out baby girl" i say kissing the top of her head from behind. after she stops for a little bit i reach over her and flush the toilet.

"stay here baby i'm going to go get a cold wash cloth" i say before running to the towels in the hallway when i hear y/n screaming so loud and high that it sounds like something horrible has happened to her

"CONNOR....HOSPITAL NOW...PLEASE" i hear and i run to the bathroom as fast as my long legs can carry me and i swing open out master bathroom to see y/n throwing up blood and sobbing.

"y/n!" i yell grabbing my phone to speed dialing y/ns mom and a bucket next to the bed. i start crying because i've never seen anything scarier in my life.

"shit shit shit" i as y/ns moms phone goes straight to voicemail

"hurry please" she cries with a hoarse voice and bloodshot eyes. i pick her up bridal style and slip on shoes not even half way on and run to my jeep rangler with my phone, y/n and a bucket. i set y/n in her seat and kiss her forehead.

"everything is going to be okay i promise" i say shutting the door and running to the other side. i turn the AC on high and go awfully fast to the hospital. i look over at y/n with tears in both of our eyes. she looks like she's in the most pain she's been in her life and her face is extremely pale with tear stained cheeks.

once we pull up to the hospital i grab y/n and run into the ER yelling for anyone to help my poor baby

"someone please help her!" i yell running up to the front desk with y/n in my arms sobbing

"sir what does she need?"

"ANYTHING SOMEONE PLEASE FUCKING DO SOMETHING SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE CANT BREATHE" i scream at the lady at the front desk. right away, people come in with a stretcher and take y/n from me and someone comes up to me trying to separate us.

"sir i need you to get away and answer a few questions for me" a nurse says lightly putting a gloved hand on my shoulder.

"no no please let me see her" i sob falling to the ground hearing y/ns sobs become faded as she goes away

"sir please take deep breaths we need to know what condition she is in to treat her"

"throw up...blood....trouble br-breath-ing" i stutter not being able to get out much
