it's 3 in the afternoon and i miss connor. i miss seeing him everyday and being able to goof around with him like we did when we were teenagers. i tear falls from my left eye and i decided to call him. it's 6 where he is. i hope he's not busy right now
*dialing*
"hello" connor laughs probably because he was just talking to someone about something funny
"hey" i say softly
"how was your day sweetheart?" he asks
"it's okay i miss you" i say sadly
"baby i know just wait a little longer and i'll be home. we've been so good at this long distance thing and i'm sorry i'm not home with you" he says
"it's okay i just miss your voice and cuddles and tickle attacks" i say
"you hate when i tickle you though" he laughs
"i know" i say starting to tear up again and i sniffle
"baby?" connor says in a concerning tone
"yeah" i say letting out a breath of air
"are you crying?" he asks
"no" i say and sniffle again cause i can't help it
"babe. i miss you more than anything but there's nothing i can do as of right now. i love you so freaking much but i have some work here that i have to do and as much as i wish i was cuddling you in bed, i'm having so much fun doing what i love almost every night. only 4 more days and i'll be home mamas" he says
"o-okay i love you. sorry for bothering you" i say
"you weren't bothering me sweetheart don't worry i'm in the tour bus and everyone else is outside right now" he says
"bye i love you" i say
"goodbye gorgeous. remember to tell me when your going to sleep okay?" he says

Connors Pov
it sucks hearing your girlfriend cry over the phone while she's hundreds of miles away. i plan to surprise her tomorrow morning because we have a break before we get back on the road.
"hey connor who was that?" brian comes in
"uh y/n" i say biting my lip
"you miss her a lot don't you?" he asks sitting next to me on the couch
"yup" i say looking down at my hands that look particularly interesting at the moment
"well you're flying out to california tomorrow and you'll be with your girl in no time so don't stress about it okay?" he says
"yup thanks brian" i say standing up and doing a 'bro hug' and we walk out to the crowd of friends

it's 6 am in Houston and i'm getting up now to go to the airport.
"goodbye tiny certain" brian yells out of his bunk
"shhh" josiah yells
"bye dude love you" josiah yells after
"can you guys shut the fuck up?" geoff yells
"bye bro" he says after as i walk out
"love you guys see you soon" i whisper
the plane just landed and i can't wait to see my baby. it's 8 here so i wouldn't be surprised if y/n was asleep still. i debate whether i should wake her up or not
i decided to let her get her beauty sleep and run to the store to get her flowers on the way home
i get home and wow. she keeps it clean. it's probably not hard though considering i'm not here
i walk into the room quietly and there she is. looking adorable in her sleep holding my sweatshirt close to her face.
i sit on the bed and y/n starts stirring in her sleep
"hm?" she groans turning around and touching my stomach. i sit still with my eyes wide.
she sits up and sees me
"connor!" she screams and jumps on me
"hey baby" i laugh
"o-oh my god" she says covering here mouth and tears up
"i missed you baby" i say
"these are happy tears i promise" she says hugging me again

we chill in bed all day watching tv and enjoying each other's company. damn i missed this girl
