night time

"hun im home" i yell as i walk into mine and my amazing fiancé connor. i walk upstairs into the office and see connor facing the window editing at his desk. "knock knock" i say softly trying not to startle him

"hey sweetheart how was work?" connor turns his chair and i walk inbetween his legs to kiss him then he wraps his arms around my torso and rests his head against my stomach
"it was okay. really busy" i say combing my fingers through his hair. "i missed you" he says pulling me down to sit on his leg and goes in for another kiss.
"i missed you too. im gonna go and make dinner" i say standing up

"ill help" he says standing up too
"you dont have to you can stay and finish up if you want" i say
"no i want to help. i should probably start learning to cook more cause i feel bad youre always in the kitchen" he says
"okay lets go"

we make dinner and most of the time connor was sitting on the counter or looking from behind with his hands on my hips while we listen to some music.

we start eating and talk about our days and our plans for the weekend. we finish and connor washes our plates.

"ya know...my parents miss seeing you" he says smirking. our families have always supported us both and we are all one big family. but connor and i are really busy people so we dont get to see them as often as we wish we could.
"yeah i miss them too. lets go visit tomorrow? i get off earlier" i say
"yeah ill let them know" he says drying his hands.

we go to the couch and watch high school musical 2 (his least favorite movie but he will gladly suffer cause its my favorite) i lay fully on top of him and rest my head on his chest. i fall asleep halfway through and wake up to sports.

"hey sleepyhead i changed it cause theres no point in watching it cause someone fell asleep on me."  he says moving a piece of hair out of my face and leans in for a kiss.

"sorry" i say laying my head on his chest again.
"what time is it?" i ask. he lifts his phone and squints his eyes at the brightness.
"9" he says yawning

"lets do face masks and a bath and call it a night" i say my eyes widening

"babe im tireddddd"  he whines closing his eyes
"but babe you dont have to do anything. just sit there and ill put the face mask on and you can sit in the bath with me" i say giving him puppy eyes
"ugh fine" he says kissing the top of my head

we put on face masks.

after we got undressed (no shit) and got in the bath together. i sat inbetween his legs while he rubbed my back. connor and i took baths all the time together cause it makes us feel closer and its very relaxing.

"you know i love you right?" he says drawing shapes and words on my back with soap and water.

"yes and you know i love you more right?" i say giggling

"impossible my love" he says kissing my shoulder.
"i cant wait to see you walk down the aisle next month baby" he says running his fingers down my arms. i turn around and kiss his lips and he sighs into the kiss.

"whats up baby" i ask running my fingers through his wet and long hair.
"im just going to be straight up and say it but im just super excited and super nervous for the wedding" he looking away from me and plays with the water

"why are you nervous?" i ask curiously
"you promise youre never going to stop loving me and leave? i know you wont but its just stuck in the back of my mind and im scared as hell for this chapter of our lives. i know youre the one that im going to have kids with and grow old and have grandchildren but im so scared youre going to fall out of love with me and im going to break into a million pieces" he says closing his eyes and taking a deep breath after he finishes

"baby never am i ever going to leave you. you are the love of my life silly. i adore everything about you. whether its you leaving the toilet seat up or leaving lights on everywhere, im always going to love you" i say holding the sides of his face.

"good" he says kissing me
"lets hurry and get out before i fall asleep in here" he chuckles and rinses my hair out and i rinse his out. we get out and he hands me my towel first and drains the water. we brush our teeth and go into the room.

"i love you baby good night" he says kissing the top of my head as i swing my leg over his body and lay my head on his chest.
"goodnight c"
