there's a trend going around that i find quite frankly stupid. vaping. i don't understand why people think it's 'cool'. it's seriously bad for you and sadly my girlfriend of 2 years has gotten into it this past month. i've told her multiple times to stop and it keeps getting worse.
"babe put the juul down for a second" i say placing my hand on her thigh
"wait a couple more hits then i'll put it away"
"y/n it's bad for you" i say sternly
"connor no it's not gonna kill me" she says sassily
"it could!" i yell getting annoyed because she is killing her lungs by the second
"connor don't yell" she says taking another hit
"no y/n i'm going to yell. i cant let you continue this. i was okay with you doing it like once a day but now it's getting out of hand so please put the fucking juul down or i'm going to throw it away!" i yell standing up
"you aren't my dad" she yells
"what if i call your dad right now? i bet he'll react the same way" i say bringing down my voice because now i feel bad cause i promised y/n i'd never yell at her
"i'm sorry. i know it's bad for me but i didn't know it bothered you this much" she says softly and looking down
"it can seriously damage your lungs baby" i say
"god i'm so stupid" she yells and throws her juul at the wall
"stop you're not. you just let something get out of hand and i'm going to help you find something else to get your mind off of vaping" i say
"i'm sorry connor" she says
"don't apologize we can get past this" i say, bringing her into a hug
"i love you and i just want you to be happy but also healthy" i say kissing her forehead
"i love you too" she says squeezing me
ever since that day, y/n hasn't touched a juul in the past 9 months
