"Ace let me see him." I tried stepping to the left but Ace dodged that way as well and held a strong but not hurtful grip on my shoulders. 

"Dawn you can't do that. He might have a wire on him did you see that cop?"

I sighed. "That's Shawn his boyfriend." I looked up at Ace. "Please Ace. I beg of you."

He stared at me and he groaned. "fuck."

He stepped aside and nodded to the bodyguards and I rushed in. I was relieved to see him in one piece and not in the state I used to be in. His back was faced to me and his hands were tied. He was struggling and moving the chair was moving a bit as he hopped a bit. 

"You shouldn't do that." I said in a calm voice. His body froze and I bit my lip. He wasn't turning to face me so I did the big thing to do and started walking slowly to face him. My heart was thumping fast and my breath was stuck.

When I was face to face with him his eyes widen and he paled. His tussled dark hair was messed up and he had a small cut by his lips. His pink/red lips were parted and his chest was raising rapidly.

"D-dawn?"

I smiled. I smiled so huge and I covered my mouth choking out a sob. "Michael."

He continued staring at me as if he was staring at a floating ghost.

"Y-you ... they." He sat up straighter. "Are you ok? How are you alive I thought you were dead I-"

"Did you really?" I tilted my head. I bent down resting my hands on his knees. I started untying the thick ropes from his wrist but not his feet. "You wouldn't be here if you thought I was dead. And I see you and Shawn gotten back together. If I someone told me you will get fat one day I would of laughed in there faces and say, 'You got the wrong Michael'"

"You were watching me? Us?"

I nodded. I jumped in his arms and hugged him. "Ever step of the way I was there with you guys."

I pulled away and frowned when I saw his frown. "Why did you lie? Why did you put us through that torture? Did you see your brothers?" His frown deepened. "I never seen so much panties before."

Guilt consumed me. "Michael I-"

"You seem fine to me." He spat eyeing me up and down. "You don't look as if they even hurt you. You sure were living in paradise while we have been suffering over your death. Carter almost suicide by staying locked up in your room. Dawn we needed you!" My eyes watered and my nose stinged.

I stepped back and sucked up the tears and wiped my nose. "I know that but you guys were safer without me."

"Safer?" He scoffed. "You died. Who is safe after there walls are dead? You need feet to stay standing. You were my feet. You were Carter's feet. You were Brian's and Alex feet."

I sniffed and wiped my stinging eyes. "I'm sorry but I had to."

"Had to?" I nodded. "You didn't have to do anything. From the looks of it."

"They said to join or die!"

"So die Dawn!"

I was taken back from his response. Fat tears rolled down my cheek. "Its better than you staying alive and lying to us. Who are you?" He shook his head tears down his cheek. "Whats next you in love with the person in charge of all of this?"

I stayed silent and his eyes went to mines and widen. "You are aren' t you?"

i looked away. "I know what i did was wrong but i did choose to die but i thought it was punishment for killing my mom and driving away my father. After joining i... they will never replace you guys as family but the bad guys are not always bad Michael. They didn't want this life I didn't want this life. Please understand i did this for you guys." I was in sobs breaking down barely keeping myself steady. "I did it for your safety. I am sorry please for-"

The door opened and i gasped when Jason walked in. His eyes went to Michael wrists and state and then to me. 
"Dawn."

"No tell him 5 more minutes please."

Michael eyes widen. "Who? Dawn where are you going?"

"Please Jason please. Give me a chance to say a proper goodbye."

Jason huffed and walked away slamming the door behind him. 

I looked at Michael and chuckled wiping my eyes. "I'm sorry, How's My brothers?"

Michael sighed. "Your a aunt."

"Who?" I broke out into a smile but then frowned. I won't be apart of that child's life...

"Carter...Knocked up a girl then they started going out. Everything backwards to be honest. There engaged but neither of us want to tell him he's going to fast." Michael laughed.

"Alex is dating this beautiful girl. Medical Student." 

"What happened to Alexa?"

Michael stared at me as if i was going crazy. "Did you not hear the part when i said i never seen so much panties in my life? The dude can go to his grave now and say, 'Well at least i didn't die a virgin.'" I laughed. So did Michael. He changed but in a good way.

"Shawn.... Shit i forgot about Shawn!" He looked at me. "Is he ok?"

I nodded smiling "He's fine babes."

Michael nodded slowly. "How about you?"

I shrugged. "You never seen so much panties i never seen so much bodies. Nothing changed about me except the fact I've killed. Made out with the Boss of the Italian Mafia. Joined the Italian Mafia. Michael eyes widen and he gulped. "Yeah you changed...."
