- What? - asked Echo as she turned to face the voice.

Clarke was standing right next to the door. She had hear most of the conversation. She didn't like to have everyone looking at her, just like before , so she lowered head eyes to her hands that were cover in red blood, while she cleaned them up with a piece of clothing that she was holding.

- Is the only difference between everyone who went on that trip, they weren't afraid to hit other mortality except for you. Plus Russell is still at large, he wanted to kidnapped me for my blood I think is save to assumed you are a target too.

Bellamy tried to hide a smile, he had already thought on those details, but as always, Clarke put the pieces together faster than him. She said that she didn't want to make decisions, but it was funny how leadership was so natural to her that, even trying , she couldn't get rid of it. Bellamy was very happy that she was there , he recovered the feeling of share burden they had always had, that he hadn't realized he missed so much.

- Yeah, you are probably right, that is why neither you, Echo, Abby and Echo are leaving this ship until we understand what is happening.

- wait, wait.... - Raven started saying- Russell is alone, I mean... everyone knows what he is, what the primes did, how the guys who attacked us are connected with him.

- Undying followers- said Octavia who had just came in, she had being helping in the infirmary and when she saw Clarke go she followed.- the one who refuse to accept the true, because it is too hard.

- How can they keep being faithful to him after knowing the truth - asked Miller.

- They were raised in this believes, they had lost people to them, believing that they were being blessed, not to mention the Obliation that Josephine so kindly imposed .- answer Clarke.

- if they accept the truth, their life mean nothing. - ended Octavia, who understood better about devotion than her.

-Yeah, I guess we will have to talk with Gabriel about it- said Bellamy- now tell me everything that happen since you left.

Raven started to tell. When they landed they went straight to the ground where they were working and they were able to finished adjusting the radiation shield yesterday night. They were gonna tried to light it today morning, but close to dawn they heard weird sounds, and voices, that woke them up. Then , Miller started shouting that they were people in the trees, and that's when the fighting started, they didn't know what they wanted but before they could talked to them they attacked. They weren't many and have no training so at the end they flee but no before they injured people, although Raven was sure that they got more. After that they boarded the ship and came back to the mothership.

- Okey- Bellamy had listened to everything without interrupting - the only thing you can do for now is heal and rest. We talk in the night. For what you said they make a mistake and that's why they attacked so the plans for building stay the same the only difference is that we will have to send more people and more guns.

- Yeah, speaking of which...- started Echo.

- No Echo you are not gonna be a part of the trips until we figure this out- Bellamy said knowing that staying behind wasn't what she would want to do- you are a target, and sending you not only puts you at risk but everyone else too, and that is definitive.

- Oh well Echo welcome to the club- said Clarke half joking, great another reason for Bellamy to not let her go down. Echo and her shared a resignation look.

As everyone left the control room, Octavia and Clarke got closer to Bellamy, who was sitting on a chair with his eyes close.

- Hey big Brother, How are holding up?- asked Octavia worries, she knew how this kind of events could be difficult to dealt with when you are in charge.

- it just a lot to consider- he said still with his eyes closed.

- you figured something out, you two always do- she said putting a hand on his brother's shoulder, to show him some support, and then looked towards Clarke, who had been quietly watching the siblings interact without wanting to interrupt, she jumped in surprise a little by Octavia's words.

- He will- she simply said, with a little sad smile, not wanting to explain.

Bellamy had really appreciated Octavia's word and touch, it was nice to know he could count on her again. When Clarke spoke though, he finally opened his eyes to look at her. He thought she had left with the others, but he was really glad she didn't.

Octavia noticed his brother's change of behavior at the sound of Clarke's voice, so She decided to discreetly leave, putting and excuse to go back to the infirmary to help, but not without saying in a whisper next to his brother:

- I guess you too solved you problem- she said it with a hidden laugh in her voice and then leave, leaving them alone.

- So, What do you think?- said Bellamy after the doors closed.

- that I love seeing you two are working things out- said Clarke with a smile

- you know what I meant -he answer, he was asking her to tell him what could they do.

- I know - she said getting close to him and sitting on his lap, they were alone and she was dying to comfort him. She started to play with his hair between her fingers- but what do YOU think we should do?

- I am not sure - he said while he close his eyes again, enjoying her soft touch - we are not sure this people are Russell's, and I don't think we should retaliate, I need a bigger picture, I need to talk to Gabriel and the Children. For now we just increased the safety and tried to manage.

- What are you gonna do with the ones that are spying on us?- she asked, she knew he could solve this just fine, but she better than anyone understood what was doubting herself and her abilities, so a little push could go miles.

- We need shift in case the come back we can catch one.- he said appreciating her input.

- See, you got it handled- she said and lean to give him a kiss. She felt how he relaxed at it, and continue. It was a soft kiss, a kiss meant to comfort and reward.

- Do you think it would ever be over?- he asked after they separated, Clarke put her head on his shoulder and he started caressing her back with one hand.

- What?- she asked although she knew what he was thinking.

- The fighting, violence, surviving- he said- that we will be able to live.

- I have to believe that it will, that we have hope for a brighter future, is what keeps me going. After all you said yourself, we're still breathing.

And they stayed in that position for a long time , just enjoying the moment and each other's company.
