Part. 25

NO ONE'S POV:

It's been two weeks since Felix left. Jeongin have been quite well without him. Well... except for today. Today aren't like any other day, jeongin has a meeting with the council students before class. They usually do it in the afternoon but the vice president, Jisoo said it is something so important that is needed do talk immediately.

"MOOOMMM" jeongin shout from upstair. "MOM" once again louder. "WHAT?" Mrs. Yang reply from the kitchen with the same time. Footsteps could be hear from there. You can say that they are running. Jeongin come down running while tucking his shirt in. "Mom why didn't you wake me up?? I've told you yesterday. I have a meeting in the morning today" jeongin enter the kitchen and straight to the fridge to take his water bottle. Luckily he prepared it last night. He then go to the cabinet to take a tupperware before pack the bread his mom made.

"I've knock your door several time and even your dad woke up from that" "Then-" "Your door is locked and i didn't find your room key." Mrs.Yang cut jeongin off before he could say anything. Jeongin just go into silence after that. After done packing his food and wearing his socks, he kiss his mom in the cheek and bid her goodbye. Once he close the front door, he sprint to the school. He have exactly ten more minutes before the meeting start and he knows he's gonna be late.

Jeongin catch his breath and tidy himself up before he enter the room. He knock and open it slowly. You can say everyone except one person is looking at him. He doesn't like it when everyone's eye is on him. Especially for things like this but he have no choice. It's either be late or receive a punishment for not attending this meeting.

"I-i'm sorry for being late..." Jeongin smile before settle down beside his friend. "It's okay but don't do it again next time. We're just about to start anyways." The president, Jinyoung said while smiling at jeongin before continuing his talk. Jeongin sat there for two hours and 30 minutes there. All the time he's spending there makes him feels uncomfortable and anxious. He feels like he's being watch. He wanted to leave the meeting as soon as possible.

"Okay that's all for today, we'll discuss more further in the next meeting. Those who I have assigned their work please do it properly and wisely. Thank you." Jinyoung pack his things and go to jeongin. "Jeongin wait for a minute, we need to talk with you for a sec." "We?" Jeongin tilt his head. "Yeah, me, Jisoo and you future partner." Jinyoung began to walk leaving jeongin behind. Jeongin just nod slowly before following jinyoung to a small room the is in the council room. Inside the room, there stood Jisoo and another guy.

"There he is." Jisoo walk to jeongin and drag him to stand beside the other boy. "See I told you they would be a match." Jisoo turn to jinyoung then to jeongin. "But-" "No but. You agreed with this wooyoung. You can't back up now." The boy who's named wooyoung look down in defeat. Jeongin who don't know anything what they're talking about are really clueless. First jinyoung told him about partner and now Jisoo said they look matched. Jeongin are having a fight inside his brain.

"Jeongin this is wooyoung and wooyoung this is jeongin. You guys will be partner from now on till the event ended." "Eh?" Jeongin spill. All attention are now on him. "I-i'm sorry but... What are all this about?" Jisoo turn to jinyoung. "I was about to tell him in here but you suddenly grab him and drag him from me so don't put the blame on me." Jinyoung tap
jeongin's shoulder.

"YOU- fine, I'll explain"

"WHO?WAHT? WAIT- WHY ME?" Jeongin step back. Suprise on what he just heard. "Like I said jeongin, you have this friendly vibe around you and most of the students knows you. It'll be easier if you can do this." Jisoo said. "Now do not waste your time. Go and get to know each other better. Both of you don't have class right now I know. Gogo" she continue while both shooing jeongin and wooyoung out of the room. There's an awkward silence between them. Because of Jisoo kicked them out through the back door, means no one's there, make jeongin feels so uncomfortable.

"So..." Wooyoung start the conversation. "Which year are you in?" "Huh? O-oh I'm in my second year. I assume you're in the third year?" Jeongin start walking and followed by wooyoung. They started to have their conversation there and getting to know more about each other just like Jisoo wanted. Apparently wooyoung is two years older than jeongin but he has to stop his study due to some problems. Jeongin didn't ask any further about the problems. He know it's something private that the older doesn't want to talk about.

Jeongin felt comfortable with wooyoung already eventhough they just met. The fact that wooyoung is in the same year as him makes jeongin doesn't feel the age gap between them. It is less awkward to talk to him if you get know him closely. They were talking and walking until they reach the cafeteria. "Do you wanna join me hyung? Or you have your friends waiting for you?" Jeongin ask before parting to his table. "Actually I don't really have friends here since people find it awkward to talk to me..." Wooyoung said looking down.

"Hey hyung..." Jeongin tap his shoulder. "I'm here okay? Come let me introduce you to my friends" jeongin gives him a reassuring smile before dragging him to his hyung-deul.

"Hey jeongin, oh h-hey hi wooyoung..." Changbin wave to jeongin and ask them to sit. "Hi hyung, I guess you know wooyoung hyung ha?" Jeongin and while settling down beside seungmin with wooyoung by his other side. "Yeah,kinda. We were classmate before he drop school." Jeongin mouthing an 'oh really' to wooyoung only to receive a simple nod from him. "Well then I guess you can can take care of him with me. Apparently wooyoung hyung and I had to work together as a partner. It's a part of students council thing seungmin hyung." Jeongin smile to seungmin. Seungmin just reply with an 'oh' and back to whatever he was doing before jeongin and wooyoung came. Jeongin must have read his mind before he ask what it's a about.

"Jeongin-ah hyu-" the bell ringing cut changbin from continuing any further. "I'm sorry hyung I have class. I'll talk to you later okay?" Come wooyoung hyung, you have physics right? I'll show you the way to the lab." Jeongin stand up and walk away first while waving to changbin and seungmin. "Oh-ah wait for me" wooyoung rush to jeongin.

Seungmin turn to changbin. "Hyung, who is he?" Seungmin only receive a sigh as a reply.

"Jeongin-ah" wooyoung call jeongin from the corridor. "Oh hi wooyoung hyung." jeongin gives wooyoung a smile. "Are you going back?" He put his last book into his locker before closing it. "No but I have things to tell you." " Why? Do you need anything?" Jeongin walk away first before wooyoung could answer him. "I'm- I just have a nicee idea for our project." Wooyoung excitedly told him. "Project? Do we ha- oh yea right the council work. Okay okay. Really? Tell me."

"Okay how about we open a stall at the garden? Not like literally on the garden but near it. I'm sure there will be a lot of people going there that day. We can sell cookies and some water." Jeongin chuckle at how wooyoung explaining makes wooyoung look down. "I'm sorry is it too lame?" He fiddles his fingers while looking at the floor.

"No it's not." Jeongin tap his shoulder. "It's just the way you excitingly explaining it is so funny. Why are you so excited for anyways?" "Really?" Wooyoung rub his nape and receive a nod from jeongin. "It's a good idea but I think it's better if we open a cafe instead of a stall. We could use the old classroom there. You know? The classroom that they close because it's far from the building?" Wooyoung was thinking for a moment, well more like remembering before he agrees.

"Okay I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye" jeongin bid his goodbye and walk away. Probably going to fetch hanyu from school.
