I woke up in Jays arms, he was still wearing his blood stained shirt and snoring softly. I reached for his phone and glanced at the time, it was 8:49am. I peered through his texts and saw a message from Sam, she was asking what happened to us last night and said she would be round soon to give me my phone. She must of already called my house and realised I wasn't there. I scrolled further down to his other messages and spotted one from Amber.
The text read:

I can't believe you left me at the party! I had to take a Uber an hour back to mine. IM SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR GF NOT ALLY!!!

Shit, she was fuming. I couldn't believe Jay had left her at the party just to take me home. I put his phone down and snuggled up to closer to him, he was so sweet when he slept.
He soon opened his eyes and kissed me on the forehead before sitting upright in bed. He rubbed his tired eyes and glanced around the room, I watched him patiently waiting for him to break the silence. He turned to face me.

"You okay?" He asked in a husky voice.

I nodded and gave a weak smile as my mind wondered over the memory of last night. A tear formed in my eyes and slid down my cheek. Jay caught it and wiped it away gently.

"You really left Amber at the party last night.." I said sheepishly.

"Of course I did, you needed me" he said.

"Yeah.. but you know she doesn't like me right? Especially after I burst into your room last night.." I said awkwardly.

"Ugh. Ally I'm so sorry you had to see that.. I didn't know you were coming over" he said looking away.

I could feel myself getting upset again. I remember a few years ago when Jay and I spoke about sex. He said he would never go down on a girl ever! Well at least not unless he was married or in love with her. Well, I didn't see a wedding ring on Amber's finger..
I breathed in deep and shut my eyes.

"Do you love her?... do you love Amber?" I asked now glaring at him.

He sighed heavy and scratched his head. He paused and scanned the room as if searching for an answer.

"Well?" I prodded him.

"Ugh. Ally it's complicated" He said frustrated.

What the fuck was that supposed to mean?... either you love someone or you don't, right? What about that question was so difficult for him to answer? I sighed and turned over to the other side of the bed. I didn't even have the energy to continue the conversation, I was warn out. These last few days had been too much for me.

I got up annoyed and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth then went downstairs to the living room. Jays mum was out, probably with my mum so we had the house to ourselves. I switched on the TV and laid on the couch. Around 10 minutes later the doorbell rang, and it was Sam. She draped her arms around me as soon as I let her inside. She apologised for not being there last night, she told me she'd left with Trey to fool around in his car. She said as soon as she came back she couldn't find me or Jay anywhere.

I was about to tell her about all the drama that happened but she already knew, apparently the whole party did too. The news of Tyrone assaulting me had spread around college like wildfire. I was upset that everyone knew but didn't have the energy to worry about it. It was the weekend so I hoped everything would die down by Monday. Sam gave me my phone back, so I looked for anything I'd missed. My phone was dry except for one text message from an unknown number.
The text read:

Can we talk?
Amber

Oh my God. She was the last person I wanted to deal with right now, I didn't care if she was mad that Jay dropped me home. I put my phone on aeroplane mode and ignored the message. Sam pulled up a video on her phone that had gone viral on Facebook. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was a video of Jay beating up Tyrone's last night! The fight looked so brutal I couldn't bear to finish watching it. Tyrone was beaten so badly that he was unrecognisable by the time Jay had finished.
Damn.
