Jay speedily drove us to the prom venue where we were greeted by all of our classmates. I must admit seeing everyone in their nice dresses put me in such a good mood and really took my mind off the horror that was this afternoon. The hall was decorated so beautifully with low sparkly lights everywhere and balloons. There were servers handing out champagne. Sam and I grabbed a glass of course and cheersed before downing it and placing it back on the tray. The girls looked at us in amazement as we had drank it so quickly. That's what being traumatised and already drunk does to you I guess.
Jay gave me a quick peck on the cheek, and whispered in my ear to behave before heading off to his boys who were on the over the side of the hall. I grabbed Sam's hand tight as I felt a cold shiver down my spine from the anxiety of Jay leaving me. She gave me a reassuring squeeze back and smiled before picking up her second glass of champagne. I could tell she was drinking a lot to block out what happened earlier. As strong as Sam was, not even she could brush off today's events.
She handed me another drink and told me to down it.
"It will help you loosen up a little more babe" she said.
I accepted the glass and did as I was told. I couldn't stop getting flashbacks. For some reason every time I'd see a guy who even remotely looked like Ryan from the back I was shook. I felt like his ghost was haunting me.After a couple more drinks I was back to my drunk state of mind and was now on the dance floor with Sam. I was really getting into it too and was back smiling. Sam twirled me around playfully, though I accidentally lost grip of her hand and bumped into a girl in a gorgeous light pink dress.
"Ugh what the hell!" she screamed as I accidentally made her spill champagne on herself.
I glanced up at her face.
"Omg! Amber I'm so sorry I didn't realise it was you" I said slurring my words.
She looked stunning, her hair and makeup was perfect and her face stained with a little attitude as usual. I quickly grabbed her hand and ran to the bathroom. There wasn't any girls in there surprisingly as they were playing all the lit songs in the main hall.
"Here" I said as I grabbed some tissue with water and cleaned her dress before she freaked out any further.
She smiled to my surprise. She didn't even look angry anymore. In fact she looked even more drunk than me."Your all cleaned up now. I'm sorry about that". I said smiling back.
"You look beautiful Ally" she said wrapping her arms around me.
Shocked at all the affection, I hugged her back.
"So do you". I said admiring her beauty. I remember how jealous I used to be of her and how mean she used to be to me. I'm shocked she wasn't even more of a bitch now her and Jay broke up.
I wouldn't dare tell her we were now a couple."I'm not going to lie I'm a little tipsy so I'm sorry if I shouted at you earlier. I've just been drinking soo much since I got here. I knew I was going to see Jay again properly tonight for the first time since our breakup and I've been freaking out"
she said taking the last swig of champagne from the glass I spilt.I watched as she fluffed perfectly curly hair and propped up her big boobs in the mirror.
"I just miss him soo much! I mean I was right to break up with him because I know he has that thing for you or whatever. But your with your new boyfriend right...?
That Ryan guy that you used post on your snapchat. You guys are so cute together!....
Anyway, I just feel like I need to have at least one more passionate night with Jay to get him out of my system. I miss him all over me and Oh My God he is soooooo good at giving head.... And his dick... Mmmm I need that back in my life!" She said before applying a coat of lipgloss.
