"It's nothing. It's just Jay called me and I didn't answer and now he's not answering my calls".
Ryan kissed his teeth.

"Ugh why the fuck do you care about that guy! I swear I give you everything you want and your still worried about him? Why the fuck do I bother".
I was shocked as I hadn't seen Ryan get angry before, but wow right now he looked mad.

I sat there stunned. I didn't know what to say. Everything he said was true. He did everything I wanted and never once questioned me about it. And the one thing he asked for, which was me not talking to Jay seemed impossible.

"I'm sorry, everything you said is true. It's just hard because we've been friends so long, but your right".

I grabbed his face and pressed my lips on his cheek. He calmed down and apologised for shouting but told me he was serious about me not seeing or talking to Jay anymore.

I wasn't going into college today because the only lesson I had was cancelled. Ryan made me some pancakes for breakfast before heading off to his college. He told me to lock the door on my way out.
