Hurt // Katsuki Bakugo x Reader

"Alright Kittens! Class 1-B is going to start out as the Scarers! Go get into position! Class 1-A let's draw for your partners!" As class 1-B walked into the forest, the rest of us walked up to Pixie-Bob and grabbed our numbers. I grabbed my slip of paper and unfolded it. A number 1 was neatly written on the center of it.

I walked up to Katsuki and Todoroki as I could see Katsuki was fuming.

"Why is it always YOU!?" Katsuki stomped away as soon as I arrived.

"I'm gonna assume that you two are partners."

"Yes, and he doesn't seem to be taking it very well." We both watched Katsuki for a minute as we went begging people to switch partners. It was kinda sad, but it made both Shoto and I laugh a little. "What number did you get?"

"I got number one. I still haven't found my partner."

"Well, I'll let you get back to it then. Good Luck."

"Thanks Shoto." We both looked at each other and he nodded. He walked away towards where Katsuki stood still fuming over who his partner was. I walked over to Momo and Jiro who were standing the closest to me. "Did either of you get one?"

"No, buy Shoji had asked us earlier if either of us had one! He's probably your partner."

"Thanks Momo."

"No problem, anytime!" I gave the two girls a smile and walked up to Shoji who was standing with Tokoyami.

"Hey Shoji? Did you get a one?"

"Uh, yea why?"

"I think i'm your partner. I got a one."

"That's strange... I also got a one as well."

"Hey you guys must be are three ones!"

"What do you mean Pixie-Bob?"

"Well, we want one person to go through the forest by themselves, so we had to make a group of three to make that happen! It looks like Midoriya is the one that will be going by himself." She walked off towards the start line and announced that we are starting. Shoji, Tokoyami and I got to the starting line and waited to be told to go.

"Alright! You three can go." We started walking towards the forest and a calm pace. The only sounds that could be heard were the sounds of the leaves rustling in the wind and small creatures quietly running in the bushes. As we continued to walk, I looked up to the sky. The stars were always beautiful out here, that's one thing I remember from my visits out here. 

Tokoyami stood on my right and Shoji on my left. A few students caught us off guard, but none of them really scared us. I kept glancing over to Tokoyami, he was really tense and his fists were always clenched tightly.

"Tokoyami, are you ok? You seem really tense."

"Yes. I'm trying to stay calm so I can control Dark Shadow. It's a lot harder at night to control him."

"That's such an interesting quirk, and it's powerful too."

"Yes, but it can also easily be dangerous. Mr. Aizawa has been making me work on controlling Dark Shadow in that cave. No one is allowed in there because Dark Shadow can easily turn evil on someone." After a few minutes had gone by, we were at about the halfway mark. We all turned around when we heard someone slurring their words together talking about... flesh? Was this a student?

"There's someone coming. Dark Shadow, we need you."

"Does something smell like its on fire?" I looked over to Shoji who had a tentacle in the air with a nose on it. He pointed to a small spot in the trees where we could see the sky. "Look, there's smoke."

"Shoji! Watch Out!" I tried to run to Shoji, but I was to late. A long blade thing came rushing out at his hand that was up high in the air. Before he could react, it was sliced off and laying on the dirt ground. We Stepped back as a man all dressed in black appeared from behind a line of trees. Only his mouth was exposed and you could see all his teeth.

"Flesh... pieces of MEAT!"

"Hey guys, I don't have a good feeling about this." The man walked to Shoji's severed hand and got down to his knees. "Tokoyami..." Tokoyami was bent over clenching his stomach. His teeth were clenched and his eyes were squeezed shut. "Shoji, we need to get him out of here before that guy sees us over here. Can you carry him."

"Yes, let's go." Shoji picked up Tokoyami and we ran away from the crazy guy.

"Shoji, is your hand going to be ok?"

"Yea, he cut off one that isn't a big issue. I will be fine." I nodded at him and we continued to run further away. After about a minute or two Tokoyami curled up into a tighter ball than he already was.

"AAHHH! PUT ME DOWN!" Shoji put Tokoyami down and we both backed away from him. He was screaming and Dark Shadow was starting to come out. "AHHH! DARK SHADOW! CALM DOWN!"

"Tokoyami!"

"STAY BACK! RUN! I"LL BE FINE!"

"Shoji, we can't leave him! He's our friend!"

"We won't, but we need to hide. We can't be any help if Dark Shadow attacks us." We hid behind a few trees and crouched down. All we could hear were Tokoyami's screams and the rampaging noises noises coming from Dark Shadow.

"(Y/N) are you ok?" I was hunched over covering my ears. The noises coming from my classmate were ear piercing, and I didn't know how to help him.

"I can't help him, I don't know how."

"It's ok, He's going to be fine. Don't stress yourself out."

"Shoji, how can you be so calm right now when he is clearly in pain..."

"You surprise me (Y/N). When I met you on the first day of school, you were an exact copy of Todoroki. You both were only looking out for yourself. You didn't really care about anyone else. Now... I mean, you're dating Bakugo and you care about everyone in class. Even sitting here you are worried about Tokoyami. I'm so calm because I trust that a solution will present itself." 

"We need light. Camp is to far. If we could find Katsuki, or Shoto... Even Kaminari could help, but he's back at the classroom."

"EVERYONE! We know what the Villains are after. They are after a student named Kacchan."

"Was that Mandalay?"

"Katsuki..." I was scared. What did the Villains want with him? I look up to Shoji, but quickly notice a ball of green electricity running towards us. "Is that Midoriya?"
