I stepped out of the cab while Katsuki talked to the driver. I closed my door and was immediately tackled by both Denki and Eijiro.

"Haven't seen ya in forever (Y/N)!"

"Well, we've been busy."

"Oh yeah, didn't your mom come by your place? We heard you two were staying at a hotel."

"Yea, and my brother, but that's not the point. You guys are here for backup. It's my dads case."

"Follow me sparky."

Katsuki led all of us down to where we had found the trapdoor the day before. Shoto was already standing by it and was waiting for us.

"So what's the plan?"

"I was gettin there Icyhot! Look, all of us are gonna go down this tunnel, figure out where it leads, but we all need to stay on guard. (Y/N) will lead us with Shitty Hair, sparky your in the middle. We will follow behind to make sure nobody is following us."

We all nodded our heads in agreement. Eijiro opened the door and I jumped in. I land on one knee and looked around. For the most part it was pitch black around me, except for where the light from outside touched.

"Shoto! Could you come down next? It's pitch black in here."

"Move over!" I moved closer to one of the walls and Shoto jumped in. He lit his hand and it lit up the rest of the small room we were in. "I think you and I will need to lead since it's this dark."

"Eijiro, you and Shoto need to switch spots! Come on down guys!" Shoto and I walked a few steps down the tunnel so the other three would have room to jump down. After everyone was down, Shoto lifted himself onto an ice platform to shut the trapdoor. He then returned to be next to me.

We were walking for about 30 minutes when we had finally reached the end of the tunnel. I entered a very tiny room that only Shoto and I could fit into. He raised me on a small platform to a grate above us. I opened it and popped my head out. We were on the side of a building I couldn't see the name of yet, but I helped the rest of the boys out before I investigated.

I walked around the front of the building and read the sign.

"Bakugo! Do you have a copy of that picture of the liquor store?"

He handed me his phone and I opened it, going to his picture gallery. I found the picture of the liquor store and held it up to the building.

"It's the same one as in the picture."

"So, this was there escape route? They couldn't be to far now then, right?"

"It's been years though. Don't you think they would have moved by now?"

"Not if they didn't have a reason to." I handed Katsuki his phone back and walked into the store.

"Oh, sorry! We aren't opened yet... Oh my gosh! Ground Zero! Red Riot! Wait! Why are there so many pro heros in my shop? How can I help you!"

"We were hoping to speak to the owner?"

"Oh, that's me! I took over for my dad a couple years ago when he passed away."

"I'm sorry to hear about your loss."

"It's ok, dad lived a full life, always happy. So what can I do for you?"

"Well, we were wondering if you know someone who matches this description. It was a customer your father knew."

I handed him the report and pointed to the description of the customer.

"Hmm, that sorta sounds like one of my regulars, comes in once a week, always on a different day. Why is he in trouble?"

"No, we just think he could have witnessed a crime that happened a while back."

"Oh, well, I've never learned his name, but he always takes a left out the store when he leaves, comes from that direction when he arrives to. I believe it only takes him a few minutes to walk here and home too."

"Any other information you could give us?"

"Not really, that's all I know. Oh, he always gets one pack of cigarettes, uhh... these ones to be exact."

"Thank you sir." We all headed out of the building and to the street.

"So that just confirms the league is still in the area. I'm sure it's Twice that they are talking about."

"Did you catch the part when he said in only takes him a few minutes to walk to the store?"

"That means they have to be really close."

I took a few steps away from the group to collect my thoughts.

"Hey, you ok?" Shoto placed his hand on my shoulder and I turned to face him and the rest of the group.

"I don't think the store owner is telling the whole truth. He knows something."

"Hey if you want, Kaminari and I can wait for the store to close and watch where he goes."

"You don't have to Eijiro."

"We want to. Trust me."

"Thanks Denki. Ok, then you two run surveillance tonight. Call me if anything happens. Ok?"

"Gotcha!"

After about twenty minutes, Denki and Eijiro were setup in a car across the street and Shoto had left. Katsuki and I were on our way back to the hotel in a cab. I didn't realize how tired I was until I was dozing off on Katsuki's shoulder. I finally fell asleep after we were halfway to the hotel.
