Hurt // Katsuki Bakugo x Reader

"So what's next?" 

"I'm not sure exactly. With All-Might retired... Anything could happen." After the big battle, Kirishima, Shoto, Katsuki and I went to the police station. We had to give our statements from our kidnapping. After they took off the bracelet that suppressed my quirk, they released me. They held Katsuki longer since he was the main target of the camp attack. Shoto and Kirishima made sure I got home safe and Kaminari met us there. I handed them all cups of hot tea and we sat in the living room.

"Kirishima... Shoto... Thank you. I don't know what would have happened if you all didn't come for us."

"(Y/N)... Todoroki, Kaminari, Bakugo and myself all promised your father that we would protect you. We told him that we were family. It's what we had to do! Plus, It was so manly!" Kirishima closed his fist in front of his face and gave me a look of accomplishment.

"Speaking of... Where is your dad?"

"Oh... He's out of town on a lead of my Mother's whereabouts. He called me while we were at the station."

"Oh... ok. I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you guys. My mother went a little crazy after we got back from camp."

"Kaminari... I don't think badly of you because you didn't go with Kirishima and Shoto. You're here and that's what matters."

"(Y/N), when is Bakugo being released?"

"Oh... I forgot. He texted me when I was getting our tea. His mom picked him up from the station. He said it took him a little to convince her to let him come over here, but  she's going to drive him over after he packs a bag. She said that she liked the idea better when she heard you three would be here to."

"So, how long do you think it's going to be until you're safe?"

"Are you asking how long you are going to have to saty here Kaminari?"

"WHAT NO! I was just wondering!"

"I'm just kidding with you Kaminari, but like I said on the way over here. You guys don't have to stay and watch over me. I would be fine on my own. And to answer your question. Well... I'll never be safe as long as my mom is alive. I know that's a little harsh to say about my Mother, but it's true. She is always going to try and come for me, trying to get me to join her and my brother. So... I just won't ever be safe. Not until she is caught."

We all sat in silence for about ten minutes reflecting over what all had happened tonight. Small remarks were said from Kaminari and Kirishima, but nothing to important. We were all pulled out of our trance when we heard banging on the door. I assumed it was Katsuki, annoyed with his Mother and wanting to get out of her eyesight. I stood up and walked towards the door, but before I was able to get three steps in, Mitsuki practically ripped the door off its hinges and barreled through the doorway. As she was straightening herself out I saw Masaru's head poke out from behind her and gave me a kind smile and a wave.

"(Y/N)!! OH THANK GOD YOU ARE ALRIGHT!"

Mitsuki ran straight to me and enveloped me in her arms. I have to admit that it was nice that Katsuki's parents actually liked me.

"I don't know what I would have done if you were hurt! I'm just so glad that neither you or Katsuki were hurt!"

"Hi Mrs. Bakugo. It's nice to you see you again." I returned the hug before we both pulled away from each other. She put her hands on my shoulders and then looked at her husband who began talking.

"I'm glad to see your ok too." He reached out and gave me a hug as well.

"Thank you Mr. Bakugo." We pulled away from each other and both looked at Mitsuki who was standing at the doorway again.

"HURRY YOUR DAMN ASS UP KATSUKI!"

"In case you were ever wondering, that's where he gets his temper from, but they do love each other. He always makes sure he does his chores, gets her mothers day gifts and even remembers her birthday. That's just how they communicate." I laughed a little while looking at Mitsuki yelling out the doorway. Masaru just sighed and shook his head.

"SHUT UP YOU OLD HAG! I'M COMING!"

Katsuki walked through the door and tossed his backpack on the floor.

"Ok... Remember. You don't have school until next week. If you are going to stay here the whole time, please just text you father or myself."

"Tch" He grabbed his bag and walked upstairs, not saying anything to anybody.

"I don't know how you deal with him (Y/N), but we are grateful you are in his life and ours." Mitsuki smiled at me while Masaru walked over to her.

"Thank you Mr. Bakugo." They waved goodbye and walked out, closing the door behind them.

I sat down with the boys again as we all waited fro Katsuki to return. About thirty minutes later, he returned in pajama bottoms and wet hair.

"Can I have some tea?"

"Yea, i'll go get you some."

I stood up and went to the kitchen and got a cup of tea for Katsuki. It took me a few minutes to warm everything up fro him, but I soon returned to the living room. When I entered the room, the boys were huddled over the coffee table and whispering to each other.

"Here Katsuki."

"Hm? Thanks."

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Oh, it's nothing. Stupid guy shit."

I brushed off the situation as nothing important, otherwise they would have told me. We all talked for a few minutes, but since it was late, soon said our good-nights, and all went off to bed. Once in my bedroom, I started changing into my pajamas.

"Katsuki? I'm sorry... for... everything. I feel like this all started because of me."

"Don't apologize. They would have come after me, whether you were there or not." He pulled off his shirt and had his back faced towards me. I saw a huge bruise on his lower back with a cut on the center.

"Katsuki, your back!"

"It's nothing... That Dabi asshole got one hit on me at the fight right after All-Might showed up."

I felt my heart drop as he climbed into my bed. A few moans of pain released from his throat and he looked stiff as he adjusted himself. I climbed into bed and rested my head on his chest.

"I love you (Y/N) and I just want to remind you that I would do anything to protect you. If I didn't I think your dad would kill me." I chuckled a little and closed my eyes. 

"I love you too."

We both were overcome by tiredness and soon fell asleep.

Tomorrow is a new day.
