I knew I needed to get away from the edge of the circle since my opponent so clearly looked stronger than me. I also knew that landing some hits on him wouldn't be as easy, and my quirk is useless against his. If I'm strategic enough, I could win.

I head closer to the center of the circle, which Kirishima does the same. He's coming at me quickly though and throws a punch to my side as soon as we meet. I am able to bend backwards easily and dodge the first attack. I put my hands on the ground, doing a back-lit and kick one of my legs up at his chin. It comes in contact but he was able to harden his chin quickly.

I need to find a weak spot if I am going to win this fight. He has a weak spot... find it.

He swung a hardened arm at me, causing me to then throw up an arm to block. When he pulled away there was a scratch that started to bleed left behind.

"Oh, sorry! I didn't mean too!" He... apologized? He has sympathy even during a match?

Wait, that's it!

I ran towards him throwing attack after attack as he blocked each one easily, but each time he used his quirk, I was left with scratches that bled, and he could see every single one.

"Wait, hey! Stop!" I didn't listen as him and I got closer to the out of bounds lines. Finally we were there and I spun around and kicked him in the chest. It didn't hurt him since he used his quirk again, but it was enough impact where he lost his balance and landed on his butt.

"(Y/n) wins."

"Yeah, but at what cost." I turned as I could hear my classmates talk about me. I looked down at my arms and I had many small cuts in small areas of my skin. It wasn't enough where I thought I would loose an arm, but enough that it looked like I was attacked by a cat.

"Mr. Aizawa, I would like to go to Recovery Girl and get these cleaned."

"Whatever. Next match will begin now. Uraraka and Asui, your turn." I left the gym and walked back to the main school building to visit Recovery Girl. She cleaned my cuts and then healed them. I returned to class, but I had already missed my next match. They were on the last match which was Bakugo vs. Shoji.

The match was over fairly quickly, with Bakugo winning. He of course got an even bigger head on his shoulders after that, which was quite annoying.

We all returned to the classroom right before the final bell rang and my classmates started to leave. I reached down to grab my back pack and a big smile greeted my face when I sat back up.

"Hey! I wanted to apologize about before. Your arms look a lot better now."

"There is no need to apologize. I did it on purpose."

"On purpose?"

"You felt bad about causing my small cuts because of your quirk. That was the only way I could see to win the fight, so I did it on purpose."

"Whoa, that's hard core."

"Ha, hard-core? Sounds like a quirkless idiot got into the hero course and she played your feelings to win if you ask me."

"Yes, but I didn't ask did I?" I grabbed my bag and started walking out of the classroom when my arm was yanked back.

"Listen here you damn need. Don't go thinking you're any good at this. You'll be dropped from this course, maybe even expelled since you don't have any real power! Meanwhile, I'll be sitting pretty in the number one spot, just you watch!"

"Sure." I turned and continued to walk out the door.

He didn't follow me to the gate which was a good thing. I don't need a little angry blonde following me around. I walked home in silence thinking through what a better strategy would have been in my fight today. I was mentally exhausted so I decided I would figure it out later.

I arrived home and made dinner right away. I finished my homework after eating and started getting ready for bed.

I let the hot water pour over my shoulders and down my back, just trying to relax the muscles in that area. The water started to grow cold, so I shut off the water and dried off. As I started getting dressed, a headache began to form around my temples. I sat in my bed and plugged my phone in. I drifted in and out of sleep all night long.
