That night I got changed into a red halter top and a pair of black leggings. I straightened my hair and put on some red lipstick. Kiss proof of course. I went downstairs and found that the Drakes were already ready. Calder was with us as well. I smiled when I saw that he had an arm around Starlene.
"Shall we?" Stefan asked.
The rest of us nodded and an escort took us to Equinox.
The bouncers let us inside and we immediately went up to the VIP lounge, which seemed to be busier than usual. There were numerous people there and I wondered if there was a party going on.
I heard a familiar song start to play and I dragged Damien out on to the dance floor.

I watched as Damien danced with Selena. He had the biggest smile on his face. I had never seen him so happy.
"She's so good for him," I stated as Calder handed me a glass of red wine.
"I know, I've never seen him so happy and carefree," Calder replied.
"Star!" I heard Gabriel call out. I turned and saw him walk towards me.
"Gabe, where are Stef, Rina, and Lex?" I asked.
"Rina and Lex stepped out to get some air, as for Stef, well..." Gabriel trailed off and gestured to a round booth, where Stefan was seated, glass of whiskey in one hand, and women all around him. He looked rather smug as two of the women kissed his neck and another fiddled with his shirt buttons.
"Unbelievable!" I growled.
"Forget about him for now, Star," Calder told me, "Let's go and dance."
He held out his hand and I took it. We went out to the dance floor and began moving our bodies to the beat.
