The best night of her life.

She didn't know he would react like this.

Never on earth she would think he would have walked away from a crowd to follow her.

Why was he following her anyway? He probably realized she was not on the list of guests. She needed to be careful.

"Excuse me? Miss?" Sebastian had slowed down his pace as he exited the gym.

How was he going to approach her? Should he tell her he knew who she was and ask her why she kept pretending?

Or should he keep quiet, pretend he didn't know anything and therefore not knowing who she was in that specific moment?

He wasn't sure.

She didn't hear him calling her, or maybe she was pretending. Sebastian didn't understand.

He slowly erased the distance between the two of them and stood behind her, letting his gaze travel across her back covered in purple silk and black lace.

He swallowed hard. He never looked at a student that way.

River felt his presence behind her and she didn't know what to do.

All of a sudden all of her confidence disappeared and she wasn't sure the whole dress up thing was a good idea.

What the hell did I get myself into...

"Miss?"

She was forced to turn around when he addressed her again.

He was close, so close, she could smell his musky aftershave.

Her legs trembled.

She turned around and gave him her best smile.

Sebastian was stunned. He had never seen River smile like that during class hours. Never.

"You walked away before I could greet you, Miss." He said, deciding he would play her game and pretend he didn't know who she was. Because what else could he do.

"You didn't have to end your conversation. I didn't mean to interrupt." She said, way braver than what she thought she could be.

Sebastian smirked under his mask. "Well, I gotta admit that your costume and mask work. I cannot quite say who you are."

He lied, looking at her curves that were always kept hidden by her alter ego.

"Glad to hear that. I'd rather keep you guessing, Professor."

She paid attention to not call him Sir, because she always did that during school hours.

Sebastian was finding that game interesting. "Since I do not recognize you as one of my students, I am going to invite you to dance with me, if you'd like. Maybe I'll crack the code."

He winked at her and River had to hold on to the half wall close to her.

Too many things happening at once.

He had asked her to dance with him and he winked ever so flirtatiously at her.

She was going to pass out.
"Yes. I'd like that."
