Epilogue.

Two years later.

River's graduation party.

Since after the trial, River started to get her life in prospective.

She became the righteous owner of the family's fortune and of the house in Mystery Spell.

She was extremely happy to have her grandfather living with her. It was going to feel like a real family. A family that loved her.

With Sebastian's help, she managed to pass the year without being kicked out of school and the two following ones.

He kept her as his assistant of course, and they kept traveling for his expeditions.

As fars as for living together, he understood her need to spend time with her granpda and didn't push her to move in with him. There was no one forbidding her to go see him now anyway.

Her life was becoming what she always wanted it to be. Normal.

Staring at the pretty lights hanging in her backyard, she zoned out for a minute.

"River! Gonna need more booze over here!" Loan showed her two empty cans as River cros turned to look at him.

"Go ahead help yourself, the cooler is in the cellar!" River smiled at her friend looking around the garden.

She was nervous. She hadn't felt that nervous in ages. But it was a good feeling this time. It made her feel alive.

She looked down at her dress. She still couldn't believe she was wearing one in front of all of the people she knew.

Samantha approached her and hugged her arm. "Oh my God. Have you seen Gretchen?  That top is hideous."

River laughed and squeezed her into a hug. "Well, maybe you shouldn't look at it Sam."

Samantha arched one of her brows. "Gosh, River." But she smiled as she walked away.

River chuckled and fixed the belt made out of small flowers she was wearing.

"Great party, Carter."
Drogo lifted his cup at her as he danced surrounded by girls.

"Glad you are enjoying yourself, Drogo." She waved at him and kept walking towards the chairs around the fire pit. 

Gregory was sitting there, talking to Detective Evans, Nicolae and Peter.

"Hi guys. Hi grandpa." She leaned in to kiss her grandpa's cheek and he smiled warmly.

"What a vision. You are stunning my dear." Gregory was proud of her.

She smiled, blushing a bit. Nicolae and Peter agreeing with the older man.

"Oh stop it. Are you guys okay? Do you need anything?"

Gregory lifted his glass of wine.
"I am fine. Thank you dear."

Evans as well had a full beer bottle. "I am good."

River nodded as Drogo got rid of the Dj and took his place.
