I ran into the darkness, into the forest....I laid on a tree Brandon came sprinting twords me "Ashley why did you run away?" Panting I sat up looked at him and my eyes turned orange I felt embarrassed I turned to run away when I felt something warm on my shoulder then a soft voice. "Ashley don't run away it's ok I won't hurt you" I turned to him and his eyes were full of innocence and happiness I finally calmed down and he walked me back to my house he opened the door for me "thank you" Gracefully I swept through the door smiled at him and closed the door I was shocked I ran to my room and closed the door shut. I picked up my phone and texted Rina "Rina! U have no idea what just happened!" a couple minutes later I got a reply from Rina "What?" I texted furiously "I KISSED BRANDON!" I got a reply " OMG REALLY? COME TO MY HOUSE!" I left my room put on my shoes and sprinted out of the house. While I was running I saw a figure in the distance when I ran closer I saw Brandon! I sprinted pat him thinking that he didn't know who I was "Hey! Ashley!" I sighed stopped and turned twords him "yes?" He looked at me "where are you going?" "to a friends house"backing away I was about to run when "Wait! Brandon yelled after me "can I walk you there?" "Ummmm" " thanks but, no thanks" I turned and ran away thoughts were swirling in my mind about Brandon, Why did he want to walk me there? did he like me? did he want me to kiss him again? all those thoughts were swirling in my mind. I looked up and I was at Rina's house Ding Dong the doorbell rang and I could here footsteps running to the door "Ashley!" she grabbed my hand and pulled me in. We both ran to her bedroom and closed the door shut she plopped me on her bed and sat next to me "So? What happened?" "Well I was running to your house and I saw Brandon and his friend playing football I got so lost watching them that I crashed into a wall Brandon was running to me to check that I was ok. He helped me walk to the bench and asked if I can come to his house, and of course I said yes when we arrived at his house we went into his bedroom he asked me what my name was then he asked what school I was going to, then...then..." Then what?" Rina's eyes were glowing with curiousity "Then my eyes turned pink and my mermaid form color...." "OMG OMG OMG! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT BRANDON IS YOUR SOUL COMPANION! "SSSSSH! oh my gosh your so loud!" Rina's cheeks turned red "so the welcome party is tomorrow" "yeah, yeah it is" " well we can text" I went out the door and said goodbye I ran back to my house and made sure that Brandon wasn't there and ran back home I opened the door took off my shoes ran to my room, and went into the bathtub I changed into my mermaid form and stared at my scales they were so shiny and pretty when I was done I flopped out of the tub and put my hand over my tail it was smoking and by a blink of an eye I had legs again I changed into my PJ's and went to bed. In the morning I was ready for the party I jumped out of bed and changed my clothes I was wearing a Teal Dress with ruffles at the bottom then I put on a fluffy white jacket that stopped at my hips and the sleeves stopped at my elbow I curled my hair and did my makeup I put on mascara and eyeliner with a wing at the end and put a cute blue bow on my hair I was ready for the party I walked down stairs and ate my breakfast "kids lets go! or we'll be late!" I put my dishes in the sink and ran to the car. I put on white sandals and headed to the car when we arrived I rang the doorbell and Rina's mom came rushing she opened the door and smiled "thank you for coming" she said, she grabbed a tray of sandwiches and offered us some "umm no thank you, but thank you very much" she smiled at me and walked away behind her I saw Brandon I hid behind my mom and casually walked pass Brandon caught me "hey Ashley!" I looked at him he walked to me and introduced me to his friend "Ashley this is Ethan, Ethan this is Ashley" "ummmm hi" I was so nervous Ethan was looking at me and making googlie eyes at me I lifted up my eyebrow then all of a sudden Brandon shoved him "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING? ETHAN?" "what are you talking about?" "YOU WERE MAKING GOOGLIE EYES AT MY GIRL!" I looked at them and they were staring at me I turned around and ran away while I was running away I could hear them arguing
