(Brandon's POV)
I could hear the whole conversation (I'm a wolf I can hear really good) from outside the door then I couldn't. I heard a thump but I wasn't sure what it was. I was really worried, all I could hear is mumbling then I got a mind message from Ashley "Brandon...please help...me" I busted in right after I heard that message and I saw Pierce drinking Ashley's blood! "What are you doing?!" Pierce turned around and smiled I saw Ashley's blood dripping down his mouth. I started growling at him Pierce let go of Ashley and she fell on the ground, it seemed as if she was unconscious I was so mad. "How dare you hurt Ashley!" I said "she was delicious" Pierce said wiping her blood from his mouth, then he disappeared. I quickly ran to Ashley blood was pouring from her neck I quickly ran out of the music room and went to the bathroom. I grabbed a lot of paper towels and ran back to the music room "ding ding ding" recess was over but I didn't care I wiped all the blood and ran to the office to get 2 bandaids I ran back and bandaged her neck. I then picked her up and carried her to the office, surprisingly she is pretty light, well of course she is light half of her blood is gone. "What happened here?" The nurse said "uh she fainted" I said nervously "ok then I will keep her until she wakes up, what class is she in?" The nurse asked "Mrs. Sato" I said I looked down at Ashley who was in my arms. "Uh Ms?" "Yes?" The nurse looked at me funny "could you excuse me from class so I can stay with her" I looked at Ashley again, the nurse looked at me funny but then smiled. "Okay fine I'll excuse you" "thank you Ms" I set Ashley on the bed (ya know the bed in nurses offices) and sat on the bed I kissed her forehead, hoping that she would wake up, I could hear the nurse calling Mrs. Sato and telling her that I was excused. I stared at Ashley hoping she would wake up "Ashley, Ashley can you hear me?" I whispered in her mind. She groaned in pain "Ashley?" I said out loud, she groaned in pain again "Brandon" she said, my eyes opened wide "Ashley! Ashley are you awake?" Her eyes slowly opened, only to realize that her eyes were blood red, just like Pierce's. She blinked and the red was gone and brown took place.
(Ashley's POV)
"Brandon?" I said, I was awake but then I remembered. I remembered when Pierce bit my neck, I remember every bit of it, the sound of him drinking my blood. Everything, I panicked I shot up and landed in Brandon's arms "Brandon....Brandon I'm scared" I cried in his arms "it's okay Ashley, Pierce isn't here anymore" I continued sobbing in his arms. Brandon let go of me and got some bandages and he took off the bandaids "ow" I said in pain "sorry" Brandon exclaimed, he wrapped my neck in bandages, while Brandon was bandaging my neck I cried more, Brandon wiped my tears away and smiled at me. I smiled back and he grabbed the scissors and cut off the bandages, the nurse came in and saw that I was awake "oh why hello! I guess since you are awake you can go back to class" the nurse said "well ok then" I said with guilt in my voice. Brandon stood up and helped me up I stumbled but got my balance again. Brandon put my arm over his shoulder and helped me out of the door "thanks" I said weakly, Brandon smiled at me and kissed my cheek, we headed out of the office and walked back to the classroom. Brandon opened the door to reveal worried faces, when they saw the bandage on my neck they started panicking, I giggled and realized that I had to sit next to Pierce "Crap" I whispered "what's wrong?" Brandon said "I have to sit next to Pierce remember?" Brandon nodded his head and he sat me in my chair. He then went back to his chair and looked at Pierce as if he was about to kill him. I avoided full eye contact once again "I'm glad to see you are all right....Ashley" Pierce had a mischievous hint to his voice, I ignored him I didn't say anything back "hey are you okay?" I looked at Caio "uh yeah just had a little accident at recess" I put my arm on my neck "but you weren't at recess, well at least I didn't see you" Caio said "uh", "what should I say!?" I said in my mind
