Roman lead Virgil to a window, "I know we're kind of high but I'll go down there and catch you, then we can make a break for Remy's car, got it?"

Virgil nodded obediently, feeling a little dizzy looking down, it wasn't too high, but jumping out...would be scary.

He turned to say something to the prince but noticed he was gone. So he twiddled his thumbs and waited.

After a minute of waiting in boredom, Virgil heard the nobles voice.

Roman called from below him "Jump! And be careful!"

Virgil got up and looked down again, swinging his legs over the windowsill whilst also trying not to think about what he was doing. He closed his eyes and launched himself down.

He hit Roman hard in the chest knocking them both to the ground, and also knocking the wind out of Roman who gasped for air.

Virgil was fine, he moved to remove his arms from under Roman so they could move. Noticing how close their faces were, he stopped to admire Romans eyes, hair, and mouth. How perfect each of his features are. He couldn't contain a blush as Roman caught his breath and smiled at him widely.

'Damn' was all the gay emo could think.

A loud and startling ringing filled the air, panic filled him at the sound, he hated loud noises.

Roman took out his phone and made a troubled face "I have to take this! You go to Remy's car and...you don't have to wait for me."

Virgil nodded but didn't move, Roman had to push him off and run off for a private place to take the call. Virgil sat staring blankly where he had once been, his face heated.

He felt strange and tingly and...happy.

With the Pat-

Patton tried to explain to Logan what had happened in the test, but kept getting interrupted by Remy and Emile who were screaming and gushing about some new 'fire emblem' game or something.

Logan watched with comforting eyes and a soft smile, occasionally asking the high schooler questions.

Virgil hopped in. "Let's go! Roman has stuff to do so he'll be going home on his own, my parents are expecting me, step on it."

"Ugh fine!" Remy said in between giggles, forcing his eyes off Emilie to drive.

Logan and Patton hopped out at Patton's stop. Virgil yelling after them. Virgil jumped out as well, hoisting up his backpack and watching the two carefully.

"Hey, guys. Why is Patton making his 'I did something wrong' face?"

Logan cleated his throat "he believes he flunked a test."

Patton nodded, the face worsening

"You've never been worried about flunking tests before?" Virgil questioned

Patton sighed "if I fail this class I'll get held back again." Tears welled up in his eyes "I don't want to stay in high school!" His voice cracked as he unlocked his door
