She stood from afar watching his son longingly. Her son is growing up fast without her and this thought pains her. She knows that when she left Tony, he will be well taken care of Yaya.

She admires her stepdaughter and feels deeply sorry for what she did but she got no choice.

Alma's delimma started when Siegfried  (Tony's and Yaya's father) got sick. She suddenly finds herself being the head of their family and handles all of their finances. It was overwhelming for her. With no cash inflows she was confused. Then she meet Alberto.

Her life changes when she meet him. She thought, he was who she needs during those times. Her husband was invalid and needs regular treatment. She takes care of their son and Yaya's schooling. Both were attending exclusive  and international schools. There were bills that she couldn't understand and hasty decisions that affects their financial problems.

Alma was used to be treated like a queen. She was previously a model and was swept off her feet when she met Segfried.  He was a General Manager to an international company and so he can support all the whims of his family. But he got sick, resigned from his job and reached her limit, she gave up. Her husband was wise in handling their money. He invested wisely but was mishandled. She admitted she was incompetent in handling it.

Alberto treated her the way she was revered by Segfried. Only to realize that this was only superficial after he got all her money, her family's life savings. Then she was introduced to gambling. Her addiction drowned her resulting to debts. She felt sorry, now it was her step daughter who suffers.

She almost show herself to them when she learned that Yaya met an accident and fell into coma. Only to know that she was being taken cared by a rich benefactor.

It was difficult for her to get information about the family who is helping her  children. All she knows that her previous debts were already paid, their house was sold, Tony resumed his schooling to an exclusive school and that Yaya returned to work.

She tried to follow Tony and Yaya to know where they live but was unable to do so because they live in a very exclusive village.

Contrary to where her life is right now. She is in  heavy debt because of gambling and is abused by Alberto.

She is still nursing a bruised ribs, broken arm and blackened eye after Mr Yang, a loan shark found her. She learned that Alberto sold her whereabouts to Mr Yang in exchange of another loan. She is now reaping her bad deeds.

She left Alberto, after she learned that ratting incident. Now she is being hunted by Alberto and Mr. Yang. She never felt helpless. She is drowning and she wants her life back.  Her family back. Yaya and Tony.

She has to think, she will do everything to get away from this mud.

Don Yoshio, read the latest update of his son's activities.

Even if Barry left his graces, he did not stop checking his whereabouts. He was disappointed when he turned his back from his responsibilities as defined by him. He just wanted to make sure that he will be paired with a good wife from a good family. But his only son's hard headedness, failed to see the goodness of his intention. It is for his own good.

His brother Honario, known as Hugh agreed to look after his son. Inspite of his son's achievement as claimed by Hugh, he was not impressed because he believes his son can do more. He let him do his own thing without his influence nor money. He leaves him be.

As their family says, he is not emotional but rational. It was Hugh who is the heart. He became the brain of their businesses and Hugh became the doctor. They were close despite different ideals.

Hugh's affectionate all heart nature he believes rub to his son. Despite of this, his brother's early demise saddened him.

He was the one who keeps him on track about his son's activities. And right now, he is impartial about Barry's latest quests. He needs to act quickly, he is not getting any younger their family needs an heir. And this definitely will not come from the family of low-life gamblers.

Yoshio vows that he will do everything to get his son out of that mud.
