"Why don't you join them, as I finish these" said Khun Dalia to Yaya.

"I insist on helping you here, besides these will not be cooked in time when you are alone... "

"Pssh, there is nothing much to do.." the old lady answered. But looking at Yaya, she seems to be too determined to help her and so she assigned her again to cook for the papaya salad.

Yaya tried so hard to concentrate with what she is doing. Aside from doing handcrafts and painting, Cooking is her next thing.

She can't understand herself why she is so pissed and wanted to cut Barry into so many pieces instead of the papaya that she is cutting. Khun Dalia said Barry wanted to eat it, not that he is not requesting this almost everyday but he said he wanted Kylie to taste it.
So Yaya shredded finely and pounded the papaya more harder than the usual.

Khun Dalia looks at Yaya and see where her sight is looking at, and then she understands what this "i-am-busy-and-i-am-ignoring-Barry" look is all about.

Khun Dalia, placed a bowl besides Yaya where she can place her salad. Then she blurted, "they really look good together"

Yaya then stops, gets the red chilis and pounded this harder with the papaya, pretending not hearing Khun Dalia.

The older woman chuckles and said, "it runs in their genes, the Kugimiyas"

Yaya again stops pounding her now butchered salad in red chilis..and looked at Khun Dalia..

Then Khun Dalia answered smiling, "cousins"

Yaya opens her mouth and was about to say something, but Khun Daliae handed her a plate of fried rice and said, "now you know go eat with them and get to know Kylie. You will also like her."

Yaya wondered, did she really act chidishly?. She just shrugged and smiled on the information that Khun Daliae have shared.

"Food was great!" Kylie exclaimed.

"Now you know why i hardly leave my home this days"

Kylie's left brows shoots up. Then she said "I like her"

Barry smiled.

"But are you sure? She got something between her ears. Not your usual type to always says yes" kylie asked.

"We will get there." He said.

Then she embraced Barry. "I am happy for you. As much as I want to tell her how barbaric you are, my boo is waiting" . she saw Tony peeking and said, "bye Tony" and blew him a flying kiss and went inside the drivers seat.

Barry closes the driver's door and leans in to Kylie. "Drive safely okay, and say my thanks to Carlos"

Kylie smiled and kisses his cheeks. "You take care of her, i like her" she said.

Barry waited until the car was out of his sight. Kylie is the most cunning cousin he was most unfortunate to have. Nonetheless he values her opinions and he cares for her. He only got a handful of them and there is nothing like having that bond with your cousins.

He puts his hands in his back pockets and went to the carpentry area and see what are the materials available for the renovation he had in mind.

Kylie's suggestions not to tear down walls and build makeshift walls are very good ideas. He can do that. Well, he thinks he can build a business, make cars, why not a room. He said to himself confidently

He was determined to do this on his own with the help of Tony of course. As if on cue, he saw Tony running towards him smiling. Barry waited for Tony and pats the young boy's head and discussed their project.
