Full of Grease

Nygård is a neighbourhood in the city centre of Bergen in Hordaland county.    it is famous for its city lake and in the world of academe because of its universities. he appreciated the calmness and orderliness of the place.

Barry cruised the neighborhood using his Mercedes-Benz GL Class 320 CD.

He stops his car adjacent to the 87th House. he is never nervous. if sweating in a cold place, with hands   feeling numb, heart beating fast and upset stomach defines it, he must be having a breakdown he thought. this must be it.

He repeatedly asked Arnel about the information he gave to him about the dates that involves Yaya giving birth to a son.

After what happened to him and Yaya in the Philippines, that incident confirms that she belongs to him. He asked himself if he can father the kid.. that he have to see...

The house is  15 meters away from its gate. it is sorrounded by a meter high white picket fence. He walks going to the fence and sees a boy playing with his football.

the ball rolls toward him as the boy chases it.

he was stunned and glued from his place, this is the first time he is seeing the kid

He just basically didn't know what happened, all the air in his lungs were sucked out. his mind is screaming and he can fleel his blood flows out of his heart. the boy is a Kugimiya. The eyes, the shape of his face.

he is staring at his self when he was of the same age.

is he hallucinating or just wanting to have what Yaya has.

the boy stops and looks up at the man in front of their house. he is frequently reminded by his mommy, never talk to strangers. he is staring at the man while he holds his football.
he is just waiting for his uncle. He said they will fix his car. Her mommy and granny alma went out to get some groceries. 

"Henry" a voice calls the kid coming from the inside of the house.

Both seems like they came out of trance and look where the voice comes from.

"Henry" this time louder.

The kid picks up his ball and runs back to the house.

Tony then comes out of the house and is surprised.

"P'Barry" he said.

Barry was speechless. he just stands in front of theiŕ fence.

"Mama, we need to go back"

"Are we not going to get the cheese you've ordered from Jessica?"

"We can get them tomorrow" as Yaya placed their grocery at the backseat of her car.

"Ya, why are you such in a hurry? It is not the first time that Henry will be left with Tony". Alma then opens the passengers seat.

"I know, but I am feeling something else."

"eversince you've come back from overseas you've been acting strange"

"I can't help it, you know how powerful and influential they are"

Yaya shared with her stepmother her business encounters with Barry.

"Come to think of it, if he really wants you to be together, he should have come after you the soonest. its you who've mentioned how high and powerful they are... and it is almost half a decade... "

"yes, and he is engaged" blurting that out gives her the pain just like yesterday.

Yaya can't help but to wipe her tears.

Alma then holds Yaya's arm.

"Henry is the only best thing that I've got from that time of my life. I don't know what will I do if they take him away from me. I just can't imagine. thinking about it pains me"

"Then don't. You've come this far. you are a self made woman, and you are a wonderful mother."

Yaya looks at her step mom and hugs her. Alma and her Aunt Ditas who is now back in Thailand. took care of her during her pregnancy and early months of her birth to Henry. without them, she knew she can't be this sane. All the hurt and disappointment she felt with Alma was gone as she once again experienced living with her.

Norway for her means a new life. it is here where she started to pick up and make herself whole again. The money that Barry gave was a big help. She was able to finish her studies, started a business with her friends, bought a house, helped Alma to her rehabilitation and send Tony to a good school.

If one day, Barry looks for his money and decides to get it. she can now hold her head high. she has saved some money to pay back and only needs a few more years to pay it in full. 

It only took them ten minutes to be back to their house.

Yaya carried the bag of groceries inside their house.

"Henry" Yaya called but got no answer.

"Tony" she then called louder.

Coming from the veranda, Alma answered " i think they are again in the garage. Tony's music is up. I can hear them from here. they might have some company"

Yaya nodded, "I better make some snacks and check them out" she prepared fresh orange juices and cookies for the boys. Most likely some of Tony's friends drop by to hang out and check his car.

She then prepared the tray and goes to the garage.

"Mommy, mommy your back" as her son runs towards her all sweat and grease on his arms.

Yaya sighed.

"Brought you some snacks, wash your hands before you eat. where is Tony?"

Her son pouted when he was told to wash her hands.

"But mommy can i wash later? they need me to fix the car."

"if you say so, but you will eat later. you can't have these cookies if your hands are dirty" as she holds on the tray

"Tony" she called and saw him tinkering the hood of his car.

"Have some snack first, wash your hands with Henry" as she shows him the orange juices. their favorite.

Henry runs towards the other side of the car. then he heard her son shouted "come on snack time, mommy makes the best cookies and orange juice"

in less than a minute. she drops the tray she was holding. oranges juices and cookies were all over the place.

Yaya saw the man that causes all her anxieties. shirtless and full of grease.
