So we are back to basics, Barry thought but secretly smiled when he noticed that Yaya wears the bracelet he gave when she was still in coma.

Barry smiled, “You look familiar, have we meet before?”

To which she replied, “I don’t think so. This is my first time to attend such event”

“Honey, besides it is impossible for you to meet her. She is not part of our circle to begin with” Iris answered.

Jacques snaked his left arm to Yaya’s waist, “Yaya is into real state, she is an architect and developer. That’s where her interests lies”

This does not escape Barry’s eyes. Given another circumstance, he will definitely like Jacques. Seems like they share the same humor, but them sharing the same interest in one woman is a big deal breaker for him. He does not share what he think he owns and Yaya is his. He is just one thread away in controlling his emotions. Hi pocketed his right fists while his jaw clenched.

Yaya immediately sensed Barry’s coldness and tried damn hard to stay away from his sharp stare.

“Excuse us for awhile, Barry I would like you to meet my comrades who just arrive” said the Ambassador.

Barry just nods and left Yaya and Jacques.

Yaya tried her best to ignore the pinch in her heart when she learned that Barry is about to be engaged to a very beautiful royal blooded French. Iris possessively snaking Barry’s arms upsets her.

Jacques being the sensitive guy immediately sensed the change on Yaya’s behavior.

“Are you okay? I told you if you are not comfortable or having fun anymore we can always go home.”

Yaya just nods.

Barry saw Yaya left with Jacques.

Barry’s mood changes the course of last night’s party.

No engagement was announced only business venture.

Iris freaked out and the Ambassador was upset. He didn’t have to explain himself. Both him and Mr Minaere know that the ambassador’s business will be at lost more if the venture will not take off. No engagement nor marriage will only means no financial and additional favours will be given to their family and these are what upsets him. Their name along side the Kugimiyas mean power and influence.

Barry does not care, what he is contemplating right now are the information given by his investigator.

He previously ordered their security to search for Yaya. But only gives him false hopes for the past years. only to find out later that his father also ordered theM to erase all Yaya’s traces and transactions.

Although not employed to their company, he privately asked the son of Diana, who is also into investigative security service to do the search for him.

Now that he knows that Yaya is currently not a figment of his imagination, he will not let her slip this time.

Yaya want to forget what happened last night. The odds are into her and she hopes that, that incident will only happen once.

Then suddenly, “Ladies, i got some news for you” said Mark Prin.  Husband of Kim.

Yaya reviewed and got her license a year after he left Pattaya and started real state and architectural firm with Mark and Kim.

Their business is just modest catering to small and mid size projects.

“I just receive an invitation to bid from BKK Group”

Both women answered him with bulging eyes.

“Get your shit off together you freakin Prim” said Kim

“Well its true, i am not kidding”

“Can we do that? Isn’t it too much for us” said Yaya

“We can look into it and assess” answered Mark.

“We’ve got nothing to loose” seconded by Kim
