"Doctor Michaels, your presence is requested in room 5"
Since when does Avalon have doctors, am I even in Avalon? I slowly opened my eyes, feeling my heavy eyelids push themselves apart. My vision was very blurry as my eyes continued to open. My throat on the other hand was another story, it was like someone placed a hot fire poker down my throat. When my eyes were open and vision was back, the first thing I saw was someone I did not expect.
"What the hell were you think you dumb blond?"
It was Sebastian sitting across from me. He looked horrible. His perfect hair was messy but it matched his beard that was growing. His face was covered in small cuts, must've been from him being thrown through a window by my dark half. He was dressed in a tight blue shirt that clung to his muscular body and a dark blue sweat pants. His arms on the other hand was just as covered in scars as his face. I can't believe he is here? After what happened I thought he would've hated me.
"What? What are you doing here?" My throat was on fire when I spoke. It must've been the side effect from swallowing all that water. Sebastian stood up from the chair slowly but I could see he was in a lot of pain. The room I was in was very white! White walls. White bed in the middle of the room, white cupboards, white sink and black tiles. I was lying down on the bed, under a white cotton blanket.
"What the hell were you thinking? Trying to drown yourself?"
"I'm. I'm sorry"
"I am not the one who you should be apologizing too. Eric is the one who dragged your skinny ass out of the water!"
Eric was the one who saved me? Why? I was the one who almost roasted him alive how could he save me. Tears were forming in my eyes like a waterfall waiting to burst. Instead of waiting to hold it back I let it all out and just start crying.
"Well don't cry! You know if you cry I will cry"
Before I knew it Sebastian was on the bed next to me wrapping his arms around me holding me tight. He smelled of sweat and hospital. I have to say it is one smell that you need to literally have to scrub off to get rid of it.
"It's okay. It's okay"
Sebastian said over and over again for hours I think. I cried myself to sleep in Sebastian's arms that morning. Thinking about everything. The memory of what happened. The fact that the man who was busy stealing my heart was the one who one who had to pull me out of the water and drag me onto the pier only to bring me back to life. I can't even imagine what he must be thinking of me. This girl first tries to hurt me on our first date but only to kill herself the day after that. How am I supposed to look him in the eyes let alone talk to the man? I do hope he doesn't come by but what I have learnt these couple of days is that my luck has been shot a long time ago.
I was standing outside on the hospital balcony overlooking the valley of sun. It's where no flower or plant has ever died. The one place within the realm that never got any snow. According to my dad it was blessed by an ancient wizard to be a safe haven for nature against all mankind. The trees glowed against the sun's rays, making the leaves almost yellow as you look at them. There was a small wind that was blowing up here but it didn't even move the trees down in the valley. It must have been a peaceful place to live. It was the complete opposite of the Dark Woods, but just as interesting. The wind was a little chilly so I wrapped my grey cotton jacket even tighter against my body. My tank top was not very warm against the outside but at least my grey sweatpants were. Standing there hanging against the white railings staring at the valley my thoughts were bouncing from one topic to next not even paying attention to my surroundings. For example, my grey shoes felt hard against the marble floors. There wasn't much outside since this was a smoking balcony. There was an ashtray in the corner against the beige cement building.
