Kapitel 23

„Wow Mercedes! Das war toll.“ lobt Mr. Schue Mercedes, nachdem sie “Run the World” von Beyonce gesungen hat. Und es war auch tatsächlich der Hammer.

„Mr. Schuester?“

Alle schauen zur Tür. Mein Vater steht dort. Was macht er denn hier?„Darf ich Kurt kurz entführen?“

„Natürlich.“

Ich stehe also auf und gehe mit meinem Vater durch die Flure.

„Also….was gibt’s?“

„Ich hab da was…“

Er bleibt stehen und ich tue es ihm gleich. Er holt einen Brief aus seiner Jackentasche und reicht ihn mir.

Der Brief von der NYADA. Ich hatte das hier schon fast vergessen…ich war so nervös als ich meine Unterlagen verschickt habe, dass ich es glaube ich zu sehr verdrängt habe.

Aber jetzt ist die Nervosität wieder da.

„Worauf wartest du? Mach schon auf!“

Ich öffne den Brief vorsichtig. Meine Zukunft hängt an diesem Brief.

Ich überfliege kurz die Zeilen.

„Ich bin Finalist!“ Mein Dad und ich fallen uns in die Arme.

„Ich bin SO stolz auf dich Kurt.“

 „Rachel…..RACHEL!“

Ich laufe nach dem Unterricht auf sie zu.

„ICH BIN FINALIST!“

Sie lächelt etwas.

„Das freut mich Kurt“

„Hast du etwa noch keinen Brief?“

Sie schüttelt den Kopf. „Und ich werde auch keinen bekommen.“

„Sag doch sowas nicht. Wenn jemand auf diese Schule geht dann bist du das darling!“

„Ich weiß nicht…“ Und da läuft sie.

Es ist so traurig dass sie  bei dieser Sache so wenig an sich glaubt.

Sie ist immer so selbstbewusst und das kann sie auch sein, denn sie ist eine so gute Sängerin, aber das zieht sie irgendwie runter.

Den restlichen Tag bin ich nur am Lernen. Ich will ja immerhin ein gutes Abschlusszeugnis haben.

Außerdem habe ich noch mit Blaine geredet, dem ich natürlich von meinem Brief erzählen musste.

Am nächsten Tag passiert eigentlich auch nicht viel. Bis auf den Auftritt von Blaine im Glee Club. 

„Eh….das war gut Puck“ sagt Mr.Schue und bevor er fragen kann wer noch will, meldet sich Blaine.

„Gerne.“

Alle klatschten etwas und er fängt an.
