The punch to the side of the head knocked Bonnie to his knees. You felt Aberama tense up next to you while the crowd cheered and shouted. They were loving it,you were not. Seeing the blood smeared across Bonnie's face made you cringe and fidget,you hated seeing him in pain and you hated seeing him bleed. Aberama grabbed your hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze,quickly throwing a small smile his way,you turned your attention back to Bonnie. His chest was rising and falling and you heard him panting for his breath.
"Bonnie! Bonnie!" You shouted,hoping he would hear you over the sound of everyone else. You took a step closer to the ring and held onto the ropes,your knuckles turning white with how tight you were holding them. You reached your hand through the ropes and managed to reach Bonnie's face. You gently caressed the side of his head,his eyes instantly shot up towards you. A small grin appeared on his mouth and his eyes sparkled as he looked at you.
"Are you okay?" You questioned him,Bonnie knew that you wouldn't be able to hear his answer so instead he winked at you and gave you another grin. Bonnie nuzzled his head into your hand,wanting to feel your soft touch on his face before he finished his fight.
"I love you" you whispered to him as he stood up,shaking his arms and ready to finish the fight.
You stepped back and gripped onto Aberama's arm,watching as Bonnie quickly dodged punches and moved around the ring. He landed a few fatal blows to his opponent and you knew that all he needed was to land another fatal blow and he'd win. Bonnie was quick on his feet as the other guy stumbled towards him. Bonnie raised his fist and landed a blow to the side of his head,knocking his opponent to his feet. The crowd went quiet as the ref checked him over,he raised his hand and pointed to Bonnie,signalling that he had won. The crowd cheered but you cheered the loudest. He'd done it and you were so so proud of him.
Bonnie immediately slipped through the ropes and jumped down from the ring,he grabbed you by the waist and pulled you in for a sweet kiss. He pulled away and rested his head on yours.
"I love you more" he whispered back to you. You smiled and intertwined your hand with his.
"I didn't think you were going to hear me" you admitted to him. Bonnie chuckled and leaned in for another kiss.
"I'll always be able to hear your voice,even in a crowd like this because when I look at you,everybody else disappears" you blushed and stepped away from Bonnie as he watched you in confusion.
"Bon,you know that I love you but you stink of sweat and blood and you really need a shower" Bonnie stuck his hand on his heart and winced,pouting at you.
"Ouch" he whispered.
Bonnie watched you in amazement,you were the best thing in his life and he could never let you go. Watching as you pretended to box with his dad,he knew that he would rather die than lose you or let anybody else hurt you. Because you were Bonnie's gold.
