Chapter 3

As Jinyeong set up her area for the game, she noticed that @goldenjjk had sent another message.

Rules?

Jinyeong quickly replied:

Only one.
No. Cheating.

An all good was sent back and the game startup began. Jinyeong put on her headphones.
"Let's do this." She mumbled.
The game quickly began and Jinyeong realized the setup was Home Start with automatic weapons.
"Oh this is too easy..."
Jinyeong knew the Home Start like the back of her hand. She often used it when she was trying to get some extra points or when she was waiting for other players to log on. It was, essentially, her practice area.
She quickly set up her weapons inventory, then started her lookout.
"Found you."
Jinyeong quickly shot the unsuspecting opponent, ending the first round.
As the rounds went on, Jinyeong only lost once. At the end of round seven, the last one, Jinyeong could tell @goldenjjk was trying anything he could to be able to win, or even say he didn't go down without a fight. She almost felt bad for him.
Deciding to end his suffering, she double shot them and won the game.
As expected, they messaged her right after.

How..... how did you win? Who are you?

Jinyeong chuckled and shook her head.

Sorry. Gotta bounce. I'll be expecting that money transfer, yeah?
Good weapons don't pay for themselves.

Jinyeong shut off her computer and went downstairs. When she reached the bottom, she immediately smelled jjajang sauce.

"Dad are you cooking?" Jinyeong called, making her way to the kitchen. She walked in only to find not Namjoon or Jin, but instead Yoongi.

"Oh. Hey. I thought you were sleeping." Yoongi replied.
"It's okay. Where's dad?" Jinyeong replied. "And where's Jimin?"
Jinyeong walked over to the island and sat on top, watching Yoongi make the jjajangmyeon noodles with beef.
"Well Daddy Joon had to go to a business dinner so he decided to take Daddy J with him." Yoongi said, plating the food.
"Oh. Okay. They didn't tell me anything."
"Yeah well like I said. I thought you were sleeping." Yoongi said moving to the table. "Get the chopsticks will you?"
The two ate dinner and talked about their day, Yoongi explaining why Jimin was gone (he had to go to a dance association meeting and Yoongi wouldn't say anything other than that because he really didn't know), and Jinyeong told Yoongi about her massive win on Insurgents.
"I still don't understand how you got so coordinated and I didn't." Yoongi complained while cleaning up.
Jinyeong just chuckled and thanked Yoongi for dinner and went upstairs to take a shower.
When she got out, Jinyeong made sure to clean up her area before heading to her bedroom. Looking at the clock she noticed it was already 9:30 at night, Jinyeong decided to just check her socials online. Besides being an anonymous online gamer, Jinyeong ran an Instagram account that was filled with her monotone posts, never her face. She had a lot of followers, and surprisingly, a lot of them were not people she knew. While editing a picture she planned on posting, she noticed that her Instagram had dinged with a notification that someone was messaging her.
And when Jinyeong saw who had texted her, she almost dropped her phone.

"Why is Jeon Jungkook texting me?"
