It had been a couple of months since Jinyeong was attacked, and everything was starting to get back to normal. She and Jungkook were happy, Yoongi and Jimin finally bought a house of their own instead of an apartment, Hoseok and Taehyung were truly bothers, and Namjoon and Jin were just happy. Hoseok and Youngjae were still together, and surprisingly, Taehyung came out as bisexual. He started dating someone named Lisa, who was from Thailand but moved to Korea. So far, everyone liked her. She was funny and full of energy, plus, Taehyungs dog, Yeontan, really seemed to like her.
As far as Minyoung, she was sitting in a hospital being treated for Dissociative Personality Disorder. Jungkook and Jinyeong both learned from the police that her father was using her, beating her, and even raping her from a young age. Due to this and the amount of pressure she received from everyone to be perfect, she lost it. And while what she did was wrong, Jinyeong forgave her. It could have easily been anyone, Jinyeong just happened to be dating Jungkook.
One day while Jungkook was out with Taehyung and Hoseok, Jinyeong told her fathers that she was headed to a PC Café for a while.
Instead of taking a left like she should have, Jinyeong took a right and started her drive to the hospital. Once arriving, she signed in and got a badge, making her way to the top floor, the psychiatric ward, and walked to room 529.
Knocking, Jinyeong quietly made her way inside.
There she was. Laying peacefully asleep, with her hands restrained to the (sturdy) bed post.
Walking inside, Jinyeong sat down in a chair near the bed and called out.
"Minyoung?" No response.
"Minyoung? Are you awake?"
The girl started stirring in her sleep, slowly becoming aware of her surroundings. Turning her head, Minyoung looked to where the noise was coming from. None of the nurses woke her up like that and the doctor tended to leave her alone when she was sleeping. Once her vision cleared up, she was shocked to see Jinyeong.
"What... what are you doing here?" She asked. Minyoung looked scared, and Jinyeong could tell.
"I came to see you. To see how you were doing." She replied.
"Why? I hurt you. The police told me what I did, so did the doctor. Why are you here?"
"Because you didn't hurt me, Minyoung. You didn't." Jinyeong responded with a small smile.
Minyoung was going to say something, then realized what Jinyeong was telling her.
"Still. I hurt you. I put you in a hospital and yet you're here to make sure I'm okay? That doesn't make any sense." Minyoung spoke quietly.
"Minyoung, I don't blame you." Jinyeong responded.
"But why?"
Jinyeong took a deep breath. She wanted to tell Minyoung the truth, but she and Yoongi swore to never tell anyone. Of course, Jin and Namjoon knew a little bit, but other than that, Yoongi and Jinyeong didn't want anyone to think any differently because of it.
"Jinyeong?" Minyoung looked at the girl who was obviously contemplating something.
"You know, Minyoung, when I was adopted, I wasn't actually one. I was seven. I knew my birth parents. Really well, too. My dad was a surgeon for the military and my mom was, well, a stay at home mom." Jinyeong started, telling herself that she needed to let Minyoung know that she was going to be okay and that she didn't blame her.
"When I turned five, my mom started acting weird. She would get really violent in sudden bursts and then when she was calm again, she wouldn't remember anything," Jinyeongs voice cracked, "She even hurt me and Yoongi."
"Oh my god." Minyoung felt even worse hearing this.
"Eventually, my dad took notice of it, and so he took her to the doctor. When he came home, she wasn't with him. He told us that she was sick and that she needed to stay at the hospital, but when she didn't come home for a year, Yoongi and I decided to go see her for ourselves. I kind of wish we hadn't. She was all over the place. She was angry then she was apologetic, then she would be herself. It was insane. She was, literally, insane. When Yoongi and I got home, dad was gone. We couldn't find him. So, doing what we thought was right, we took ourselves to the police station. From there we were in the system, until we were adopted by Jin and Namjoon. We asked social security not to tell them everything, so as far as they know, our mother is in a permanent coma and our dad is a runner. Which is okay with me. I just," Jinyeong was crying at this point, "I just want you to know that I don't blame you. It's not your fault that your father was a horrible man and that I was dating the boy you loved. You're just sick and that's okay, because it's not your fault."
Minyoung sat in her bed with her mouth wide open.
"I can't blame you for something that you can't control. It's not my job to be judge and jury. To be honest, I wanted to be mad at you for making my family go through that, but then I realized that you wouldn't even know what that was like since you've only ever been used by people, which is unfair and inhumane. Yeah, you did some pretty terrible things to me, but I also know that it wasn't you. It wasn't the real you anyways."
Minyoung started crying, and Jinyeong walked over to give her a hug.
"I'm so sorry. I'm so, so, so sorry." Minyoung sobbed.
"Me too, Minyoung. Me too." Jinyeong said.
Staying with her a little longer, Jinyeong decided that she would come visit Minyoung every weekend. She needed someone and Jinyeong thought that it wasn't fair she didn't have any real family or friends. So that's what she did. She visited every Saturday when Jungkook was gone with Hoseok and Taehyung, and she often brought Minyoung a book or magazine, sometimes even some different clothes to wear for a while. Jinyeong never told her dads where she went, they would only force her to stay away. The only person Jinyeong did tell, was Yoongi. And after a while, Yoongi started to go see Minyoung with her. Of course, he couldn't lie to his husband, so after much explaining and reassurance, Jinyeoung, Yoongi, and Jimin would all go visit Minyoung in the hospital. Some days were worse than others, but it was obvious that she was getting somewhat better.
One day while visiting Minyoung, Jinyeongs phone went off. Yoongi and Jimin couldn't make it because of a meeting of some sort, so she was there alone. Minyoung told her to pick up, so stepping outside, Jinyeong answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jinnie. It's Hoseok. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come over?"
"Right now?" She asked.
"Um, yeah, that would probably be best!" He answered.
"Hosoek."
"Yes?"
"What did you do to my boyfriend?"
"Nothing, nothing! I promise. Just please come over. Oh crap, Taehyung get it away from there- No! Uh, I've got to go! Love you! Come quickly!"
The call ended, so Jinyeong walked back in and told Minyoung she needed to leave.
Making her way to her car, Jinyeong wondered what could possibly be going on at the Jung/Kim household.
Arriving at the house, Jinyeong didn't even bother knocking before walking in.
"Hobi? Tae? Kook? I'm here!" She called out.
"Upstairs!" She heard Jungkook call.
Making her way up, Jinyeong walked into Taehyungs bedroom and saw the three boys sitting on the bed with Yeontan in front of them on the floor, barking hysterically.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Well. We know how hard these months have been and we all love you and want to congratulate you, so, we got you a present!" Jungkook spoke.
And Hoseok took his arms and help out his hands, revealing her present.

It was a small, curly haired dog.
