Jinyeong waited silently while Jungkook spoke with some guys from Calculus.
She was too busy thinking to notice when he had come out.
"Hello? Earth to Jinyeong?" Jungkook waved his hand in front of her face. She jumped, then smiled since it was him. Jungkook could tell she was thinking hard about something, but he decided not to question it.
"Ready for lunch?"
"About that. Jungkook do I have to come with you to the lunch room? I usually eat with Hoseok in the library or on the roof." Jinyeong replied nervously.
"Oh. My friends aren't mean. Hoseok can join us too you know." Jungkook spoke casually. Jinyeong realized that the only reason she thought Jungkook was mean was because he hung around Taehyung. She had no real reason or experience as to why she thought Jungkook was a bad person. It was all in her head.
"Is Taehyung here?" Jinyeong asked quietly.
"I think so. He got beat up though, so his eye is kind of black." Jungkook spoke nonchalantly about it.
"Wait you don't know how he got his black eye?" Jinyeong looked at Jungkook, surprised that Taehyung hadn't told him anything. She had assumed they were best friends.
"He said he accidentally ran into someone the other night and that they punched him. Why?" Jinyeong couldn't believe it. Taehyung wasn't telling anyone that he and Hoseok were related either.
"No reason. I'm just going to eat with Hoseok on the roof. He's probably already up there anyways... I'll see you later, okay?" Jinyeong spoke while walking away, leaving Jungkook confused as to why she was suddenly being so distant.
Jinyeong quickly walked to the roof stairs, but before she could get there she was yanked into the boys bathroom. She screamed but it was muffled by a hand. Jinyeong thought she was being kidnapped, but when she turned around she saw Taehyung.
So it was worse than being kidnapped.
"What the hell Taehyung?" Jinyeong screamed.
"Shut up shut up oh my god you're so loud." Taehyung hissed.
"what do you want? Aren't you supposed to be with Jungkook at lunch or something?"
"I need to talk to you." Taehyung said.
"Why the hell do you want to talk to me? You hate me." Jinyeong scoffed and started towards the door.
"No no no please just listen. I know Hoseok probably already said something but you can't tell anyone we are related, okay? It's not something either of us want getting out." Taehyung almost sounded desperate.
"Why? What's so bad about you two being step-brother?" Jinyeong asked.
"It's not that, well, it's- just,- ugh. Leave it, okay? Don't even dare thinking of telling Jungkook, got it? You're just another one of his flings anyways." Taehyung spoke the last part mostly to himself, but Jinyeong heard him anyways.
"If you really think Jungkook is anything like you, you are strongly mistaken. Jungkook is a good person, more than half the person you'll ever be, Taehyung." Jinyeong was angry. Angry was an understatement. Jinyeong was livid.
"I know you think you're all high and mighty but you're not, okay? You're just sad, angry, and confused about who you are and what you want and you take it out on me and it's not fair so just figure your own shit out before you come at me, okay?" Jinyeong was yelling at this point, hot tears spilling down her cheeks.
"I'm sorry." Taehyung spoke softly.
When Jinyeong looked up, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Taehyung was crying, head in his hands, telling her that he was sorry.
