The Light Elves were those of young deities of nature; and the most beautiful voices and story telling.
More beautiful than the Sun, the Light Elves were held in such a high stance.
And the young Princess Dahlia was no exception. Daughter of Freyj...

It was windy when Dahlia stepped out into the yard. The sky was dark with rolling clouds and the air was freezing. The Princess immediately shivered; she had never been in such cold.
Her arms mimicked the spies, crossed over her chest as she stepped into the yard. Her eyes were wide with wonder, she had never seen such weather. She wasn't used to this.
"Why is it...?" Her words were cut off by a cold breeze.
"It's almost December." Natasha told her. "It's supposed to snow tonight I think. You should have brought her another jacket. She's probably not used to the cold."
Clint realized she was right. "We'll only be here for a couple minutes."
"No," Dahlia suddenly spoke. "I would like to stay for a while. I think that I like this cold air." It reminded her of Loki. He was always very cold to the touch.
Clint nodded and together they walked down the small little path. There was hardly anyone out there. They were perfectly hidden.
Dahlia looked at all the dead plants. The grass was a muddied color and the trees were barren. Dead bushes lay next to the pathways, and all the dead leaves were crushed into the ground. She had never seen such a sorry sight. It broke her heart to see the plants dead.
"What has happened?" Dahlia asked Clint.
It took him a moment to realize she meant the dead plants. "It's winter, D. They die in the cold weather, and then they come alive again in the spring."
Her eyebrows furrowed together. "That is very sad."
"Can you bring them back to life?" Natasha asked. "You say you can."
Dahlia looked at her a moment. "If I do, it would die again very soon, right?"
Natasha nodded.
"Then no. I do want to cause it's death." Dahlia shook her head.
Clint then stepped to her. "It will come back to life again, I promise you. Can you just show us? Only once?"
Dahlia looked at it. "I will only do it if it can be moved into the building. I would like it in my room. So I may take care of it. So it does not die."
Clint nodded then and smiled, looking at Natasha. Even she tried to hide a smile. "We can do that."
Dahlia smiled then and knelt on the cold ground. She looked at the dead grass with a small frown, she wished it was spring. She believed it must have been beautiful in the spring.
Her steady hand was held over the grass, just an inch over it. Her eyes fluttered close for just a moment as she focused on healing the grass, on letting it grow back.
Clint and Natasha watched from a few feet back. Their eyes widened as they watched a small bud grow from the grass. Then in a seconds passing, it grew into a flower. A beautiful wildflower, the same that grew in the springtime.
"Oh my God." Natasha mumbled. Then a thought hit her. "You think she could do that with people?"
Clint shook his head slowly. "I have no idea. Fury is gonna love this."
Dahlia then looked at them. "How shall we bring it to my room?"
Clint then walked towards her and helped her to her feet. His mind was running a mile a minute and he couldn't believe what he had just seen. Sure, SHEILD has seen some crazy shit, but he had never seen something like this.
"I'll get someone to bring it to your room. Why don't we keep walking around?"
Dahlia nodded and smiled, then looked at Natasha. "Will you join us?"
"Yes." Natasha spoke before she thought.
The Princess nodded and together they continued down the path.
Natasha started to think of what Dahlia had told them in the past. "So this... Asgard. What exactly is it?"
Dahlia smiled. "It's a beautiful place. It's the top of all nine realms. Although, I believe that Alfheim is more lovely. It is beautiful, though."
"And your boyfriend?" Natasha asked.
Dahlia looked at her with a confused expression. "Boyfriend?"
Natasha then smiled and looked at Clint before looking back at Dahlia. "It means like, the person you're dating. The person you love and stuff."
"A lover." Dahlia nodded. "Yes, I suppose that I can call him a boyfriend." She laughed then. "That's such a funny word."
Clint couldn't help but laugh too. "So your boyfriend, he's supposed to come for you?"
"Yes. He is. I know you must think that I am crazy."
"It's not crazy. What's his name again?" Natasha asked. She did believe that Dahlia was from another world, the evidence in her DNA was proof enough. Though she did think some of the things that Dahlia said were crazy. It was hard to believe some of the things that came from her mouth.
"His name is Loki. He is the God of Mischief. A son of Odin. The Prince." Dahlia said as she was led to sit on a bench. The clouds grew darker as the sun set behind them.
"Mischief, huh?"
Dahlia laughed. "Yes. He could be very mischievous sometimes. So can I, though. We enjoy to prank."
Natasha then laughed. "Pranks? Isn't that a little childish of you?"
"Perhaps. But it is fun! But aside from that, he does not live up to his name. He is very kind and very sweet." Dahlia smiled as she thought of him. "I miss him."
"He sounds like a hell of a man." Clint told her to make her feel better. "I can't wait to meet him when he comes to get you."
Dahlia smiled and thought again of her lover. She did long for him. But she tried to stay hopeful, she wouldn't let their separation allow her to feel sorrow. She would wait for him and happily spend time with her friends; she vowed it.
"Was it happy there?" Natasha was staring at the ground. "In Asgard and Alfheim?"
"Yes, it was. I know you probably have so many questions about where I am from. Perhaps when I am not in hiding I can show you it someday. You can meet my family."
"I think that would be pretty cool." Clint nodded.
"Yes, cool. That means fun?" Dahlia remembered that Clint used that word a lot.
"Yes." Clint laughed at Dahlia. He liked how innocent she was; very much like Lila.
"You said you committed treason." Natasha then looked at the Princess. "Is it because you ran away from the wedding? From that Thor guy?"
Dahlia nodded. "Yes. The All-Father wanted me to wed him. I could not. I did not love him."
"So even in other worlds, women are still treated like shit."
"Not on Alfheim." Dahlia shook her head. "There are no men in Alfheim. It is quite nice." She whispered the last part.
"Hey!" Clint yelled and they all laughed.
"I am simply kidding." Dahlia told him. "I like men. I think that they are amusing." Then she looked at Natasha. "Although they are terrible at decision making. Even the All-Father was."
Natasha smiled at Dahlia and gave a pointed look to Clint. "I think you may be my best friend."
"What is a best friend?" Dahlia asked. "Is that a really big regular friend?"
"It means that your really close to that person." Natasha explained.
