The Light Elves were those of young deities of nature; and the most beautiful voices and story telling.
More beautiful than the Sun, the Light Elves were held in such a high stance.
And the young Princess Dahlia was no exception. Daughter of Freyj...

"I mean seriously, it's kind of crazy. I don't even want to begin to understand what kind of weird family you guys come from ." Tony Stark said from the table.
"Chose your words more carefully." Thor warned him. "Your little mortal mind cannot comprehend the pain that we have been through."
Tony rolled eyes. "Please. Let's remember who was the one who caught your evil maniac."
"He is still my brother and I will not allow you to insult him like that." Thor warned.
"He's killed eighty people in three days." Bruce told him.
Thor sighed. "He's adopted."
Dahlia shook her head as she sat down at the table. She could not have imagined how Loki could have done any of this. He was so very sweet and caring. She remembered him; he wouldn't harm her, he wouldn't harm anyone. How could this have happened.
"May I see him?" Dahlia looked at Fury. "I want to see him."
"D, I don't think that that's a good idea." Natasha told her closest friend.
"I do not care if it is a bad idea. I want to see him."
"He does not talk to anyone." Fury shook his head. "How do you suppose he'll talk to you?"
"He will. I know it. Fury, please." Dahlia asked one more time. "I can help him. I can find out what is plans are."
Fury thought for a moment. Then he nodded his head. "Fine. But you will not go alone. Romanoff, please escort her. Dahlia, remember, this is not the same man you knew once. You have been trained. You know not to let your emotions get the best of you."
Dahlia nodded and stood up from the table. She looked at Natasha before the two left the small conference room.
The Black Widow grabbed Dahlia's hand as she walked alongside of her. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Dahlia nodded. "I have to. I have no other choice. I need to figure out what happened to him and where Clint is. I don't know what to think."
Natasha felt for her friend. "I know. We will figure it out. I'm sure that something has happened. There has to be an explanation."
Dahlia knew that her friend was right. There had to be a reason why he was doing this. Did he know that she was even there? Dahlia was almost scared. She hadn't seen her love in months. She missed him more than anything.
The Princess let out a breath of air before they continued on their way to the where Loki was being held. When they got to the guarded door, Dahlia stood nearly frozen.
"I'll go in first." Natasha told her. "You listen and watch. It's going to be hard, just take a moment to adjust. Besides, it's still very late and we haven't properly slept."
"Yes." Dahlia nodded, realizing that she needed a moment. She felt sick.
Natasha gave her friends hand a squeeze before pushing her towards the communications room, where several SHEILD agents were observing the God of Mischief.
Dahlia took a deep breath before looking towards the glass. All the air in her lungs slipped away when she saw him.
He stood in the middle of a glass containment system. His hair had grown longer in the months that he had been without her. His skin was still just as pale, but it was his eyes that Dahlia focused on. She could see how red they were. He looked so very pained and it broke her heart.
Tears shed from her eyes for the first time in months; she had gotten very good at controlling her emotions, much better than she used to. But the sight of him caused tears to break through the barrier.
"Oh Loki," She whispered. "What have they done to you?"
She knew then that Fury was right to worry. She would never be unable to set her emotions to the side for the man in front of her. She loved him too much to ever do it. She loved him with every beat of her heart.
Inside the room, Natasha was looking at the man in front of her. She easily decided that Dahlia deserved much better than him, much better than the evil villain that stood before her.
She didn't like the way he looked at her. She didn't like the conceding smile that played across his face. She didn't like how he thought he was the smartest person in the room. In fact, she hated him the moment she laid eyes on him.
And that was the hardest part for Natasha. She hated him because he didn't deserve the love Dahlia felt for him.
Across the glass, hidden from them both, Dahlia listened as they exchanged words. Loki's voice was no longer sweet and loving, it was cold and sinister. He sounded nothing like the man that she used to love.
She saw the way that he used his words to hurt Natasha and it angered her. But every time she looked at his face, something told her that it wasn't him. That it wasn't her Loki. How could it been? Her Loki was the man that asked to kiss her each and every single time. He was the man that was so surprised and shocked that she had gifted him flowers, he didn't believe it.
Finally, Natasha decided it was time for Dahlia to be introduced. Loki was not giving away any answers, and even the Black Widow was having trouble figuring out his plans.
"You know," Natasha said as she spoke to the God. "We happen to know quite a bit about you, Loki. We do have an inside man."
"Are you attempting at threatening me with my idiotic brother?"
Natasha smiled; she hoped that it would pain him to know that Dahlia was working against him. She hoped that it would change Loki's ways. "No, no. Actually, it's an inside woman. She's been with us for a few months now, a year in November. She's very smart, and a skillful fighter. You may not even recognize her."
Loki lowered his eyes at the pathetic human he thought she was. "Get on with it, spy." He spit at her.
Natasha smiled again. "Though I'm sure that you'll recognize the very same Princess that was supposed fo marry your brother."
Loki took a step back as a familiar burn ached in his chest. His mind began to run through memories; aching in the worst of ways. "What did you say?"
"Oh, yeah, the Princess of Alfheim. We found her nearly dead down south a bit. Quite a fascinating story, really. We picked her up and helped her. She's actually a part of SHEILD now. A decent agent with a jaw breaking punch. Dahlia is just behind that glass." She pointed towards the glass. It was of course, one way.
Loki looked towards it with a mouth agape. He started to shake his head slowly. The control on his mind began to slip. "No. You are lying. I am not to believe this." He couldn't. He couldn't believe it.
"Oh? Does it worry the God of Mischief?" Natasha then set her hand on the ear piece. "D, come on out. He's ready for you. You want me to stay or leave?"
Loki watched the spy. He couldn't hear Dahlia tell Natasha that she would be okay on her own.
"Alright. On my way out." Natasha looked at Loki. She allowed her mask to fall for just a moment. "Dahlia is with us now, she's with SHEILD. If you try anything, you will be killed. Make no mistake of that."
Then the Spy walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. Dahlia stood just behind the door, feeling sick at the idea of seeing Loki again. She didn't want to believe that he had become the monster everyone said he was.
