New paths

Things weren't the same as before the war, it was like time was flying, kakashi is the hokage  and Shikamaru the hokage's advisor, Ino the head of her clan and kiba found his soulmate while she herself was doing nothing besides training a team she was a sensei now, the team lost their sensei in the war and she was the replacement she was walking towards the hokage's building because kakashi called for her, it's been a year since the war ended and even though hinata still think that she needed more time.  One year wasn't enough to recover she still felt the emptiness in her house... he wasn't there. Hinata wouldn't come out of their compound If kakashi didn't call her to be at his office, the only time she got out of her home was if she had to train with her team hinata walked looking down to her feet trying to mute every sound around her because they were too loud for her, the old lady's arguing with the seller about the high price, the kid's crying because of something he wanted to eat and everything around her sounded loud but she managed to walk away with her insanity or she thought... hinata opened her eyes terrified of the screaming she heard, she looked up to see the source of the noise and there it was... a group of girls surrounded the village's hero and the future hokage. She sighed and tried to avoid them, her head began to hurt. Hinata was about to walked in an alley that seemed more peaceful that until someone called her name loud for the whole people to notice and hinata wished she could vanish she stopped and looked behind her Naruto was making his way towards her in the middle of the staring villagers she was uncomfortable under their eyes his fangirls were trying to see what kind of relationship they had praying with all their faith that they weren't couple
"Hey" he rubbed the back of his head while standing in front of her "heheh awkward" well she didn't feel awkward she felt that she needed to go "soo, how are you doing?" She tried to part her lips to answer but they wouldn't so she stopped trying because it was too hard and took a lot of effort only that took all of her energy and she needed it to walk and for her luck this was Naruto the person who wouldn't stay quiet "I saw you passing by so I came to say hi, are you going to the hokage's building?" She nodded her head ,Thankfully there were signs for expression without speaking she didn't want to part her lips ever. "So am i, Let's go together" and this time nodding felt a huge task for her so she just walked and he followed "Are you going because of teme?" She raised her brow who? "Then kakashi called for you?" She nodded her head " he will be late anyway so how about we pick sakura on our way?" Hinata wanted desperately to refuse she wanted to say I will go ahead and you could pick her that she wanted to be alone. "Then let's go" she sighed following him to the hospital.

Sakura came to her office and took off her everything ready to leave "why are you rushing like this?" Sakura turned to her best friend with the hugest smile ever "sasuke-kun will get out soon" Ino didn't react at all, she just nodded her head "ah, is that so" and she walked to her chair and leaned back stretching her arms she was about to say something but then she heard the door slammed she opened her eyes sakura was nowhere she left she sighed before getting ready to leave but then she heard the door opened again. Sakura came rushing "I forgot this" she held the keys and walked out running.
Ino took her bag and left as well, she walked silently and slowly to the entering, glass door of the hospital. As it opened the breeze of the fresh air hit her and she breathed deeply trying to get rid of the smell of the hospital that sticked in her. She walked few steps ahead "you waited too long?" The man shook his head without speaking a word "you shouldn't be here" still he came and walked her home "I know" she didn't say more. She just walked with him to her home "How's your mother?" She always ask him this every day wondering if he suffered the same thing she did. Her mother wouldn't stop crying after her father's death, she always find her in the middle of the night drinking after she dreamt about him and thinking that Shikamaru was witnessing the same she might help him a little. He shrugged "Same" he did though but maybe he was worse. His mother kept it inside trying to act tough around her son so he wouldn't worry at least her mother was letting it out but his wouldn't. "You won't be home soon, right?" He looked to her knowing what was it leading "So how about you and your mother come for dinner it's only me and my mother it's boring" she rolled her bright eyes, an expression she used every time as an excuse so he would agree a smirk drew his lips upward "sure" he let out his arms a little so she wouldn't snatch it so hard and as always she took his arm happily "then i will call choji too" Ino was trying her hardest to keep her team together and she was doing it well at least he wasn't feeling awkward around them as he did around kakashi and his team "thank you ,ino" she didn't hear she was busy talking about everything in her life or maybe she did.

Kakashi's words rang inside his head
"I will help you" those words spread hope in the last uchiha "but" and that on word destroyed it all "don't expect much, you've done enough to keep you inside this cell forever, be grateful for Naruto and Sakura" he will admitted he wanted out, this place killed him slowly only few more minutes and then he will at least know his fate. The door of the cell opened and he heard heavy steps walking slowly towards him and then the band which was holding around his eyes snatched sasuke closed his eyes hard the light almost blinded him and he gritted his teeth trying not to show the pain "sasuke uchiha" sasuke didn't fight back when the man snatched him hard even though his shoulders hurt. He just walked silently with them.
