Did you fell yet

His feet felt colder than he could handle them as he stood on his house's wooden floor mouth dry looking everywhere still she wasn't there, Not even a sound but his own breathing nothing here but her scent
And her clothes he had waited and waited like a crazy for her to return what next?
Maybe the head of the hyuga's would be here any minute the council would throw him out of village and his clan would curse him from heaven or hell he doesn't know but those things felt far from his worries, smaller than he had thought.
The head of the hyuga's, the council the whole village was far from his concern.
It her, the hyuga's princess, that shy, quiet, distance kunoichi that was topping his concern
What if he would never see her again?
What if she left his life forever?
Sasuke imagined it and he didn't like it, he wished for the second time that he had a byakugan to see through the whole places in konoha.
But he just stood there looking at the door as if it would open and she would step inside for hours and he wasn't a patient man, what to do?
He felt like a hopeless child.
Sasuke stood suddenly he had all the energy in thw world inside of him and walked out.
To the only person he could escape to he had hated to admit it but his sensei was the only one he could lean on instead of his father now, every time Sasuke needed someone Kakashi was the first person he go to just like he asked him to be his family in front of the hyuga he wanted to tell them that he has someone too as a family and this time too he was walking to his sensei again as if he was walking to his father's room.
Sasuke opened the door faster this time than the last one he looked pale, sweats were making his skin glowing under the lights of the office
You know Sasuke this isn't your house to go in and leave like that"
Kakashi spoke without bothering to look up to his student who had the habit to interrupt his work at this late hours
"Kakashi"
His voice was low out of his usual irritation one, breathing faster that tone caught Kakashi's attention
The hokage looked up to see Sasuke giving him this look as if he was .... lost
"I want you to come with me to the hyuga's"
Kakashi raised his brow pushing away the irritation that built inside when he heard Sasuke's commanding tone but the curiosity of knowing the reason of his actions
"Why?"
Sasuke glared at his sensei hut he wanted him to come so
"Hinata.. my wife.. she's missing"
The hokage raised his brows at his student with wide eyes as the glare on Sasuke's hardened
"Oi do you hear me! I need you ti find a tracking team to fi-"
He stopped looking at his sensei was he going crazy?
Kakashi was looking at him mockingly as if he was a child he wanted so hard punch that smirk on his face this wasn't the time to play
"Sasuke-kun, didn't know you care so much for people?"
Kakashi rested his back on his chair smirking wider
"Hinata-chan is in a mission, I sent her even if this was her day off it was something important"
Sasuke stared at his sensei cursing him inside, he felt so small for all his childish acting.
But he was nervous, he didn't how far Naruto had spoken did she knows yet?
She left fast and without anybody's notice she could be sneaky when she wants to.
He stood there as of he was a kid who got caught stealing.
He was overreacting and his sensei wouldn't let that go easily, Sasuke knew it the moment his sensei smirked behind that mask.
He would start mocking him
"May I ask if that was concern i heard?"
All thoughts disappeared and only his embarrassment stayed coloring his face, hardening his glare Kakashi was ready for the susanoo to lightenhis office but it never stopped him
"Are you perhaps in love with her already? Am I going to see my grandchildren soon"
Kakashi chuckled when the door slammed behind the uchiha.
And then he smiled, at least he had in the middle of all these scrolls that delivered the worst news to him
He felt guilty for laughing, or even smiling.
Because he knows that not matter how hard he would try it would lead to that thing he tried so hard to avoid, he could see the end of this road
But he had to try as he promised his best friend
He remembered that day he treasured it as if it was the last moment of his life
"J don't understand why you don't want to be the hokage"
Doesn't even know what was going on in these small occasions they make, all the council and kages and many, many others.
He had no clue how things run between them.
"I just don't want to get involve in something like that"
That was his best answer he could give for gai
He had been an anbu he had witnessed those things
Kakashi felt dirty to be in the middle of them
Trying to avoid staining himself, Shikamaru too.
Both lost the colors of this life as they got in these things, they were supposed to be the rulers of this village doing what best for it.

That was his own words for Naruto and he almost believed them but not until he got home he doubted them and uchiha never go back on their words.
Sasuke closed his eyes up to the sky tightening his jaw, how could she leave like that?
She always tell him where she would go and for how long and all.

He wanted to convince himself that too but right his chest was boiling with a lot of things

That stupid, idiot Uzumaki didn't answer only rested his body on the chair and slammed his head on the table ignoring the most important questions.

Her green eyes shoot up to the female in front of her the same one who took away her lover, she admitted that she hated her before but now she was regretting it Ino was right she knows, this wasn't Hinata's fault Sakura needed someone to blame for the pain Sasuke had caused but she couldn't blame him she was too weak to blame him for the pain inside her
So she held it all throwing it at Hinata so she wouldn't have to leave Sasuke.
Sakura almost chuckled at how sarcastic she was, she was one of the top kunoichi and yet she was hanging her life on someone who didn't even look at her she was supposed to be someone who other girls in her village looked up too and yet here she was blaming another one for something they didn't do
"Get over it sakura"
Even Naruto told her the same and yet she couldn't she was still in her spot looking at the other female in front of her envying her for something she couldn't had.
The hyuga kunoichi stopped looking forward with her byakugan
"We will wait here until dawn"

On the way to his home Sasuke was deep in his own thoughts he felt relieved when he knew she was on a mission but then he realized that he wasn't convinced that Naruto didn't say anything, he didn't know how much Naruto was talking? Did spill out their secret? He still was in confusion.
What if he did? What if Hinata heard about them and will go back from her mission straight to the hyuga's letting out his past to the public?
Sasuke stretched his arms out wanting this pressure to slip away from his chest.
His house felt empty when he stepped inside.
The environment of its own home changed
She isn't here.
He reasoned it out to himself, his feet stumbled to his bed and laid there with his clothes on.
And tried to sleep

The moment they stepped inside this tiny town all eyes were set on them.
'Stay hidden'
Sakura's green eyes went to every direction no matter how hard they had tried to stay hidden as Kakashi ordered they still looked stranger from them all, they all have dark eyes and dark brown hair and the colors of their clothes were matching.

Sakura walked smiling sweetly to the young guy who gapped at her with blushing cheeks she knew she went to the right person.
"Do you know a place where we could rest?"
The guy nodded quickly and showed them the road
Sakura looked back to the three younger shinobi behind her they weren't comfortable without their sensei.
Hinata had to stay back with the other anbu to watch before she step in.
Giving immediate reports to the hokage.
Sakura followed the guy in front of her still deep in her thoughts about herself, hinata and Sasuke.
Before she felt like Hinata was an intruder in hers and Sasuke's life but now she felt as if she was the intruder in both of the couple's life
She sometimes think of how is their lifestyle?
Did he kiss her? Held her before sleep?
Joked and laughed together?
They seemed distanced, it was actually Hinata who seemed distanced.
Sasuke was socializing at least with their team and sensei until he got married.

She didn't know why Naruto was that depressed about it maybe because Sasuke wasn't spending time like before with them.
How did Sasuke decided to marry Hinata instead of her? She remembered before the war when Ino was as teasing her by calling her Uchiha Sakura.

After the war everything changed nothing was like before and Sakura blamed it all on Hinata for some stupid reason.
Sakura remembered those girls that gathered around her after the war they were jumping in excitement telling her how much they wanted to be like her.
She feels ashamed now.
She was supposed to support the girls not blame them for something they didn't do.

The guy in front of her stopped pointing to an old lady that was resting on her chair outside her big house.

Sakura could see that she was beautiful and she still is despite all the signs of her ages all over her face it failed to cover her beauty.
She didn't say anything but only stared at them and when her eyes looked at Sakura's she Narrowed those grey eyes studying them for a minute
"They need a place to stay in"

Sakura reached for her backpack but someone had walked in and gave the money
"Ken-san you didn't have to"
The boy shrugged his shoulders and stood next to his female teammate.
Despite his age he was the tallest he was hiding his face from the girls beside him who whispered something to him and smiled.
"Thank you ken-kun"
Before they walked in Sakura looked back between the trees where the hyuga kunoichi was

She was supposed to wait here in the middle of all these trees for the anbu
"Find out who's the one leading them"
She imagined an old man as tall as her father but less frightening, with beard too and white long hair.
Hinata stopped her thoughts when someone jumped
On the tree behind her and she looked back
A male she noticed, have high long ponytail behind him he wasn't tall he was short

"Kakashi-sama informed me about y..your presence
tomorrow n..night we will m..met as you asked"
The anbu nodded his head after she finished
"Ev..everyone is already there I'm g..going there"
Again she received nothing but a nod
She was about to walk in the town and follow the other but the voice behind her stopped her

The first thing that came to her head was that the person behind her was a hyuga.
She looked back without showing her thoughts
"There is a way behind the town so you could avoid the people in there" the anbu spoke
She followed him and she knew he knows that hinata figured that he was a hyuga when he activated his byakugan to scan the place before he showed her the where they were.

It was boring.
His life was boring Sasuke rolled on the bed it was noon already and he still didn't get up from bed.
His hand for the 10th time traveled to the space beside him.

It was empty, just like him at that moment
He remembered his life before a day.
Waking to the smell of his breakfast staring at her back when she sometimes hummed quietly sometimes as he watched her his thoughts flew to the future he would be waking up to her holding their baby and after years their baby would grow to run around the house and sometimes would wake him up, that beautiful stressful days when she will be pregnant he can't wait to wake up in the middle of the night to bring her cinnamon rolls he wouldn't mind to carry her around or hold back her hair for her if she woke up one night running to the bathroom.
He wanted to live these moments too.
But with her and only her.
It's amazing how years ago he wanted to destroy this place and have this dream of being an avenger but now he just wanted a family.
"Are you perhaps in love with her already?"
So frustrating, he finally found the energy to walk to the bathroom and slammed the poor door behind him.

The young guy leaned on the wooden frame watching his female teammate rubbing her hands a sign to show how worried she was
He didn't know if he was there and the other teammate was here instead if him would she act the same unfortunately he doubts it.
The hero of her dreams would be beside her
That Haruno kunoichi had insisted to convince him to be there with them but Ryu had fought against it with every strength he had and ken chose to be here

Both of the poor guys were fighting for people who doesn't even aware of their attempts

The beautiful kunoichi looked back at him with those bright eyes that reflected the moon on them
"Why can't we go with them?"
Ken stepped closer to stand on his usual spot beside her he knows very well that she was worried the most about their teammate, Ryu.
"They need someone behind in case something happened, that hokage's orders"
Ren wasn't convinced but she didn't Voice out her worries anymore.
Ken stood their doing his favorite thing staring at her secretly behind his bang.
And being unaware of his dark eyes made her more beautiful in his eyes she was his teammate, his friend and his beautiful secret.

Sasuke wandered through the streets of konoha in the evening the lights around him sparkling with colors but he stood in front of that small shop that gives the place around it the smell of sweets.
Sasuke frowned at the smell but went inside anyway
He waited in the long line to decide what he would order flashes of the hyuga in front of him chewing her cinnamon rolls sweetly sometimes Sasuke watched her as she enjoyed them and few times he found himself swallowing wanting to have the courage to have a bite.
She was like a child specially when she played with that lavender flower that was floating on her tea
"— for you?"
Sasuke looked to the frightened girl, he noticed that it was his turn now He hesitated for a minute before he gathered his courage
"Lavender tea and cinnamon roll"
Then he left his finger
"Only one"
He would try it, just once it was only one bite and all
Why was it so hard?
Sasuke took his order and walk but before he chose a table he almost pumped into someone.
Sasuke looked up directing his glare to the one and only Nara he hates the most.
He looked down with a smirk to that pink cake sparkling with a lot of colors Shikamaru was holding
But before he directed his smirk to the other man Sasuke glared when Shikamaru was doing the same thing he almost smack that stupid head of his when Shikamaru's eyes hanged longer on that purple flower swimming on Sasuke's tea his face heated when his this lazy eyes looked up reflecting his expression
"Che"
Without apologizing Sasuke walked pass him to chose a place to sit.

Uchiha Sasuke stared at that piece of sweets in front of him as if it was the most terrifying thing he ever seen but she smiled...
Sasuke remembered her smile when she bite on her sweets and because she was Hyuga Hinata she blew his curiosity
So here he was in front of the only thing he hated the most curious like a kid in how it taste?
Sasuke dared to raise the spoon to his lips and tasting it.
At first it was good like the rise cake Itachi used to give him warm and fluffy but then his nightmares began the sweetness attacked him Sasuke looked around looking for a napkin he was about spit it out
But his eyes landed on pair of lazy brown eyes staring at him from afar and they were absolutely mocking him.
Sasuke stopped swallowing it his pride and this horrible amount of sugar
Trying to act normal he grabbed his tea looking outside to the passerby and as if he was her.
Sasuke stopped his tea close to his nose and inhaled
He could smell her in this cup of tea he had to open his eyes to look to the opposite seat to see if she was there she wasn't only her scent.
Memories of his morning with her and their calm nights came and despite being separated in the same bed her scent never failed to sneak to him and he would turn running his fingers through her beautiful hair as it shined under the moon.
Sasuke sipped from the tea then nodded she had nice taste of tea

The sun raised over this small town waking every human body in there but hers
Hinata was already awake she never slept watching from a far for any threats and even so they weren't allowed to fight.
Only escape, this was konoha's plan they sent Sakura best medic ninja to here healing whoever need it
And with her beauty and sweet smiles they wouldn't dare to suspect her.
Hinata didn't know what their plan was but she needed to do her job as they wanted
"Don't fail them"
She won't again, her failures had cost her more than she could handled
"Hinata-sensei!"
She looked down to her student what was he doing?
She wasn't supposed to be shown
"Come down here I want to show you something"
She awakened her byakugan looking for Sakura
She was still inside their apartment
Hinata looked to Ryu before landing beside him
"What happened?"
He didn't answer only mentioned for her to follow him and she did they walked through town
She noticed the whispers around them, the glances towards her everyone knows they were an outsider
the sensei's thoughts took the best of her
"Ryu what happened?"
Ryu stood in front of a small shop then looked back at her then smiled
"I wanted to have breakfast with you"
Was this the reason he called for her?
Ryu knew she was going to refuse so he spoke first

"Please hinata-sensei we used to have it together so please only once"
The younger guy opened one of his eyes to watch her sighed and walked pass him to the shop

How boring could his life be?
He just woke up and was now fighting his needs to get up like normal humans
But he didn't want to there was nothing to look forward too.
His hands reached her space again
It felt like a week and it was only two days
Sasuke growled trying to came with something worth getting up to

He had no other escape but training
And then he would have a cup of her tea
His legs hurt when he stood walking to the kitchen trying to make himself something worth eating
His body was little spoiled with her meals everyday
Opening the fridge he found a lot of things but few things he could make
Eggs and tomatoes that sounded like something he could eat.
Sasuke learned how to do the simplest thing and he tried to make it looks good on his white platte but failed so he just grabbed his chopsticks and tried to enjoy it.
He wondered how she used to spend her day after training her team Sasuke walked in his house
He spotted a lot of books there
She used to read there was this small table that had small lamp over it surrounded with books
But he didn't know what kind of books
Sasuke took some and read the titles only
"Che, too romantic"
There was another types of books but most of them were fictional something that wasn't real
Then what's the point in reading it?

Sakura was a little mad when she knew her part in this mission she felt insulted they were using her like a pretty doll that they could control but then she thought again they were all tools being used by the one in the higher positions.
For the benefit of the village but she couldn't see where the benefits they were looking for here.
"Sakura-san"
Sakura looked to the guy from before standing there at the doors with another wound he made for her to heal him.
She knew it was his way of getting closer to her but she pretended that she didn't
She wore her sweet smile and treated his injury in hope that he would leave fast but nothing goes as she wanted
"Ehmm"
She looked up trying to keep her smile
"There's this place here that has delicious food"
She knew the rest of it and she was about to refuse but he mentioned something important for them
"Everyone goes there it's popular here"
"Really must be good"

And Sakura accepted it because she had to do her part

One of her book's shelf fell behind him and hated to admit that it frightened him a little was his clan started to hunt him?
It's been hours since he was standing there reading one of her book and taking another one he didn't know that he had wasted that much of time in books
He jumped again when he heard the door knocks
The knock on his door sounded different, hard and faster than his usual ones which weren't many.
Sasuke left the failed attempts of understanding his wife and walked to the door.
And as he opened it he almost stepped back.
There standing one of the hyuga's guards at his door and Sasuke fell in silence she must've been known
Naruto had talked too much!
"Uchiha-sama"
The deep voice of the guard pulled him from his thoughts And he just stared trying his hardest not to reflect his inside on his face
"Hinata-sama, came back from her mission"
What she was supposed to be back later!
"She's in the hospital"

The world underneath him was shaking as he stood there between the hyuga's guard and the nurses
"Where is she?"
he pressed his lips trying to get a hold of what left of him
"He's her husband"

He heard nothing but the number

It was close only fee steps and he would be there the guard mentioned for him to the room in the corner
in that corner was his wife she would be wrapped in bandages that sucked some of her blood, he closed his eyes as his steps dragged his body to that room
"Expect the worst"
His father's once said that to him, telling him to expect the worst to be prepared for whatever was waiting for him and maybe instead of shocked he would feel relieved that it's much better than his expectations but he couldn't find himself expecting worse now
"Hinata-sama almost lost her sight"
What happened in there?
Sakura said that Kakashi said he made a mistake by sending a hyuga
Sasuke for the first time found himself praying quietly to whatever he believe in to make her at least
Awake to make her recognize him.
What if she lost her memory?
What if she didn't know him anymore?
What if instead of walking to Their home she headed to the hyuga's.
What if his clan's curses or Danzo's was playing its role in his life now.

Many and many names passed in his head , he was lost.
The sound of the door opened alert him, he didn't want to look up but this is Hinata always burning him with curiosity saying his last hope to his family up in the heavens to his brother to protect her.
this was the only thing he needed from them he pressed his fists as he made his unspoken promises to his family if they heard his prayers.
Finally stepping inside the room it was deadly quiet and he questioned if someone was really in there or if they came inside the wrong room.
But when he moved his eyes to the bed there was no doubts this was her room, he knew it by the petite figure that laid under the covers unconscious her eyes were wrapped by the bandages.
The view in front of him lit something inside him giving him unwanted warming that mixed with the freezing around him.
The worst mixture he felt like his stomach was empty.
"LET ME IN!!.. ah.. SENSEI!"
The shouting of her student behind the doors weren't helping the only thing he did was raising his eyes to the closed door.
"THIS IS ALL MY FAULT..i..I..should've protected her"
What happened in there?
"Hinata-sama was recognized there as a shinobi from the leaf"
They were supposed to be hidden and yet Kakashi and his smart ass advisor sent A Hyuga!
The crying got louder when the nurses left the room to calm the guy behind there.
And when everything became quiet Sasuke stood in the middle watching his wife
ignoring the presence of his teammate
"Who's going to stay with her?"
Sakura sighed "Sasuke no on-"
"I will"
Then he was out of the door without hearing her response he regretted not praying for Sakura to stay in there without chasing him but she did
"Sasuke!"
His name echoed through the empty hallway
Why was it so weird to hear his name being called
By someone who wasn't her.
"Did you fell yet?"
