Sienna
I wake up and immediately groan. My feet hurt. Like I just walked a million miles without stopping. The pain is familiar, I just can't put my finger on it.
"You okay, Dimples?" Cole asks, smirking at my discomfort. We're the only two in here. The rest of my guys are early risers.
"My feet hurt," I pout. "Rub them."
"Remember when you made fun of my shot?" He raises a brow.
I do remember when he took a terrible swing, but that wasn't me who made fun of him. Asma had joked with my guys and they didn't even realize the difference.
I don't know if it's good thing or not.
"That's fine. I'll rub them myself." I sit up and bring my feet to my hands. Rubbing out the aches and kinks, I sigh as the pain lessens.
"What the hell?" Cole mumbles making me turn to him with a frown.
"What?"
"Your hair." His fingers gently run through my curls and I wait patiently for him to explain what he's talking about.
I see what he means when he pulls a tendril of hair in front of my face. It's a bright blonde, the same blonde of the woman living in my head.
Care to explain?
"I don't know why it's like that."
I don't have time to decipher if she's telling the truth or not, because Dean is bursting through the door with excitement.
"Finally, you two are awake. Come on, we're gonna do something exciting." Dean's eyes shine as he smiles brightly. I automatically smile at seeing how excited he is.
"Can we have breakfast first?" Cole sighs like he's exhausted.
I grab a pillow and slap his face. "Get up, old man."
Dean disappears from the door and calls out from the hallway. "What Pancake said!"
Cole and I get out the bed and make our way to the kitchen. The sweet scent of muffins fill my nose and I happily take me seat the table. I'm glad we're eating on my floor today.
It'd be a circus to eat downstairs with Mia.
"I can't believe you guys are letting her stay."
I can't believe it either. Theo wants her to, though.
"So?"
In a relationship, you have to make compromises.
"You're a relationship expert?"
All your relationships ended in them being poisoned, headless, or heartless.
"Sienna."My eyes flick up to Dom who's frowning softly at me. "Yes?"
"We've been talking to you for the past five minutes. You okay?"
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just... tired." I've never had to lie on the spot, and I'm terrible at it. Most of my lies are predetermined and I have plans in place for if they go wrong. The guys all know I'm lying too, but they don't comment.
"Going for a new look, Pancake?" Dean asks with a mouthful of muffin.
"I don't know why my hair is like this," I shrug, twirling my fingers around the gold curls. Some brown strands fall in my face adding to my confusion. So not all of my hair is turning blonde. Great. I look a mess.
Dom looks alarmed. "You just woke up and it was like that?"
"Yeah. I think it has to do with Asma."
On cue, everyone jumps at my words. Theo's eyes widen with fear while Cole and Dom look on guard, ready to defend me from the woman in my head. Dean becomes angry, his grip on his spoon tightening and his eyebrows arching comically.
"Asma's still here?" Cole growls.
"No. No, she's gone." I feel terrible for lying, but based on their reactions, I'd rather do this than have them constantly on edge. It'd be worse if I told them she can speak to me now. "But since she left her super strength and other abilities, I just thought maybe she's leaving her hair?"
"Asma's hair is blonde?" Dean's voice is higher than I've ever heard it. He sounds like the idea is laughable.
"No! I just..." I trail off, not sure how to explain myself.
Thankfully, Theo saves the day. "Sienna's eyes are brown and Asma's are gold. Sienna's hair is brown so it makes sense Asma's would be blonde."
I pass him a grateful smile and he gives me a warm, affectionate one in return.
"Well aside from Sienna going blonde, guess what else we're doing today?" Dean beams, excitedly.
"Wha-"
"We're getting back your sword!" Dean doesn't even let me finish asking.
"My sword? Shouldn't she still be stuck in Master Varrien's head?" Without meaning to, I grin slightly at remembering how satisfying it was to kill him. He's the reason for my existence and killing him gave me back the power over my life.
"We thought so, too. But when we went to look for it, to umm," Dom winces, uncomfortable. "To bury it with you, it was gone."
My body warms at the guys wanting to bury Felie by my side. I would've been okay with them keeping her or with her being underground with me. What I'm not okay with, is some random person having their gross hands wrapped around her.
"You say we're gonna go get it," Cole starts, "but can you start from the beginning? Or are we gonna wing it and follow you blindly?" He raises a brow at Dean who stands up dramatically.
"To the War room!"

"It's in this man's house." Dom gestures to the picture on the wall as Dean, Cole, Theo and I listen and watch. "He 'bought' it as a 'commemoration' when in reality, he stole it because he thought it looked pretty."
We're back in the War room and an excited buzz fills the room. The other time we were here, it was to discuss with Mia. Now, we're about to get into some trouble and do something dangerous. Even Theo looks excited.
"She is pretty," I say, agreeing with the rich man. Mr. Qwen is his name and apparently he's your classic businessman. I never served him, so I'm sure he doesn't know how much that sword is worth to me.
"You're pretty," Dean casually throws out there making me roll my eyes.
"Even with this?" I tug on a blonde curl and he nods his head. The blonde section is in the back of my head, thankfully, so I forget about it's presence sometimes.
"Blonde is beautiful."
Brown is beautiful.
"That is true. But, your implying my hair is ugly."
I in no way said that.
"You hurt my feelings."
You have feelings?
"You're being mean."
You're being whiny. What's wrong with you?
"Nothing."
Asma's presence dims making me confused. Normally, she'd banter with me but now, she seems melancholy. What can she possibly be sad about?
"Sound like a plan?" Dom asks clapping his hands.
I didn't hear a thing he said, but I nod my head anyways. "Sounds like a plan.
