Dean

I stare dumbfounded at where Sienna just stood. Her brown eyes were bright, her smile was just as big as I remembered, and her presence was still loving. And just like last time I saw her, it disappeared quickly.

"Did you get her?" Leader Hill demands to know, glaring at his Soldiers who just came back.

"No," a man answers, not looking Hill in the eye.

"Where is she then?" He questions, obviously on edge.

"She jumped out the window and ran away," he answers.

I feel my eyes bug out of my head at hearing that. Sienna jumped out the window on the twentieth floor? Is she insane?

Hill isn't done with his Soldiers. "Why did you not follow her? You all know how crucial she is, and yet you don't follow her. What was going through your minds when you let her get away?" He says his words slowly, like his Soldiers are too stupid to comprehend.

The three Soldiers look at each other before responding.

"I can't do that."

"She's crazy."

"I'm not ready to die."

Leader Hill looks about ready to snap, and I find great amusement in it.

"What is your plan with Sienna?" Cole asks gruffly, reminding me about what Sienna said. I turn to him, grateful that he remembered that, but he doesn't make eye contact with me. Though we're all friends, it's like he doesn't know how to act with us anymore.

Leader Hill frowns and turns to Cole, briefly forgetting about his Soldiers. "What do you mean?"

"She said you have a plan with her. What is it?" He says slowly.

"Nothing," he says, "I just don't want her in the hands of General Ryan." He shrugs and turns back to his Soldiers.

"You said she's crucial," little Theodore speaks up. I look at him and he flinches when he makes eye contact with me.

"Yeah," Dom speaks, "Crucial to what?"

"Crucial to General Ryan's plans," Leader Hill grits out. He looks around at all of us and looks extremely agitated. "If you'll excuse me, I have matters to attend to."

He walks out along with his Soldiers. I glance at Dom who has a steely look on his face. Theodore looks confused and worried, and Cole looks like he's going to kill Leader Hill soon.

It seems like they've all drawn a conclusion that I'm unaware of.

"My room," Dom says, walking out the door.

We all follow him to the elevator and into his room. As soon as the door closes, Dom begins to pace and Theodore looks sick. Cole broods in the corner, a million things obviously running through his mind based on his eyes.

"So..." I drawl, an embarrassed smile coming across my face. Everyone looks at me and I clap my hands together, making poor Theodore jump. "I'm lost," I finish. "You all know something that I really don't."

Dom chuckles and shakes his head in exasperation. I look over at Cole whose lips twitch slightly. Theodore is the only one who's pale look hasn't changed.

"Even after everything we've been through, you're still the clueless one" Dom says, looking us each in the eye. That does it to Theodore who runs out the room covering his mouth.

I exchange a worried look with Dom before running after Theodore. I find him throwing up in the toilet, tears running down his face. Patting his back, I shush him and let him heave and vomit. Cole and Dom stand in the doorway as little Theodore continues to throw up everything. When he's done, I pass him the toilet paper so he can wipe his mouth. He starts lowering himself to sit on the floor, but I sit first before pulling him to sit in my lap.
