Dominic
I smile softly to myself at hearing Sienna's snores. Last time we saw her, she looked exhausted. I'm glad that she's back with us and able to sleep. Who knows the last time she slept?
Looking over at a nervous Cole, I put an assuring hand on his thigh, rubbing it softly. He grabs it and squeezes it gently before bringing up to his mouth and kissing it. My heart flips at the gesture and I pass him a loving smile.
"Geesh, Pancake. I didn't know you moved this much in your sleep," Dean says hesitantly. I look back in the rearview mirror and see Sienna jerking around in his lap. He eyes her cautiously and I pull over immediately.
I turn around at the same time Sienna, or should I say Asma, wakes up. Her hands shoot out to Dean and Theo's necks. I pull out my gun and point it at her face, not flinching when her golden eyes connect with mine.
"Drop them," I demand, my voice cold.
Theo calls out when she squeezes tighter. She smirks at me with evil in their eyes.
"Let them go, or I'll shoot," I swear, not afraid to kill this woman.
Her hold loosens, and she cackles. "It'd be a shame for me to allow Sienna control and you shoot her."
That is something I hadn't accounted for, but I narrow my eyes at her to show her I don't give a damn. "I'll shoot both of you," I state seriously.
Her eyes widen in surprise and she laughs loudly again, "Wow, life has been cruel to you guys, huh?" She looks at all of us. "Y'all are cold-hearted," she sings.
"Let them go now or I'll fucking shoot," I growl, still pissed that she has her hands around my men's necks.
She lets go and holds her hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay, geesh," she giggles maniacally before pointing at the door. "Let me out of this car though."
"No, we're going somewhere and we need Sienna," I say cryptically, my gun still on her.
She looks at it and narrows her eyes at me. "You're fucking insane if you think I'll go anywhere with you assholes."
I did not miss this bitch at all.
"Hear me out," I start. "We're going to see Head Joya and Chief Gene." I can feel that all of the guys are giving me panicked and questioning looks, but I know what I'm doing. Sort of.
"Those idiots are dead," she snaps.
"No," I continue, "They're alive. And we think they could help us and-"
"Help you," she interrupts.
I shake my head. "No, us. We think they could separate you and Sienna." That's a huge lie, but should be believable for Asma.
She laughs with no humor. "That's impossible."
"Is it?" Theo asks, seeming to help me. "I mean, the very existence of Soldiers is impossible and here you are."
She seems to think for a moment before she smiles evilly and hums to herself. "Okay, then I could finally kill Sienna for good and still be alive. This is a good idea."
The threat makes Cole tense but I know he's smart enough to not do anything right now.
"Do whatever you want, but we want Sienna right now," I demand.
She rolls her eyes and sighs. "Okay, I'm tired anyways. But remember, I'm always watching." She closes her eyes and leans back. I look at Dean and Theo who both look very uncomfortable.
"You guys okay?" I whisper.
Dean shrugs and scoots away from Asma, Sienna, whoever it is right now. "Peachy."
"Just fine," Theo responds.
I hate that she woke up so early, but I've fixed the situation for now and we'll make due.

We pull up to a small house that looks cozy just from the outside. It's nothing like the tall, elaborate building like Leader Hill's. Hopefully, Chief Gene and Head Joya are much more approachable than the other two scientists.
I sigh harshly before turning back to the sleeping girl. There's no telling who's going to wake up.
"Everyone out," I direct, getting out and shutting the door. I go to Theo's side and open the door, pointing my gun and Sienna's body. "Go wake her up," I tell Dean. He pulls out his gun, goes to the other side of the car. After he opens the car door, he nudges Sienna with her gun before backing up quickly.
My finger is on the trigger and I'm ready to shoot whoever wakes up. Brown eyes connect with mine and I sigh in relief. A frightened look overcomes Sienna's face and she opens her mouth to scream.
"Woah, wait. Sorry, Princess," I calm her down. Quickly putting away my gun, I go to her and hug her, pulling her out the car. I engulf her in my arms, shushing her and assuring her.
"Asma?" She asks softly, her tone showing she already knows the answer.
I don't respond and instead kiss her on the forehead. "We're here," I mumble against it.
She pulls back and looks around at the house sitting in the forest. Like our house, Chief Gene and Head Joya's house is isolated.
"Everyone good?" I question the whole group, watching them carefully. Surprisingly, all of my men look calm and collected. As if nothing behind the door could spook them. After all, we've dealt with two crazy scientists already, what's another two?
"Are you good?" Theo asks with his soft-spoken voice. He's watching me just as carefully and I push all nervousness down.
Clearing my throat, I close the car door and begin walking towards the house. "Yep."
I knock on the door, grabbing Sienna tightly. She rubs my hand in comfort and I pass her a small smile. Footsteps can be heard and the shadow of a person comes into view.
Head Joya opens the door with a bright smile. Unlike the other Creators, hers is genuine.
"Well, hello," she greets. "You must be Theodore," she looks at me, "Dean," she looks at Theo, "Dom," she looks at Cole, "and Cole," she looks at Theo. She looks at the love my life standing in front of me and her eyes sparkle. "And you are Sienna."
"Ding ding ding," Dean comments unnecessarily.
Based on the low thud, I'm sure Cole smacked the back of his head.
Sienna smiles, "You're not quite right about the guys, but yes, I'm Sienna." She holds out her hand and Head Joya grabs it before pulling her inside. We all quickly follow and I immediately go on edge, not liking the sudden action.
"It's great to meet the Immortal Soldier," Head Joya beams.
Sienna groans and shakes her head. "Please no more nicknames. I'm just Sienna. I'm not a Soldier and if I had the option, I wouldn't be immortal."
Head Joya nods her head in response and looks apologetic. "Yes, Theodore did speak of your unfortunate, difficult and surprising situation. I'd love to hear how everything came to be."
"Um actually, Head Joya," Sienna interjects, "We're in a hurry. Could you really help us?"
"Please, call me Joya. Yes, we can help you, well really my husband can. I was not the smartest of the bunch. But, he said that as soon as you all were settled, he would like to speak with Theodore and get started," Joya informs.
I look over at Theo, mentally asking him if he's ready to get started. His eyes show he's ready and he steps forward to Joya.
"I'm Theo," he speaks, "And I'm ready whenever he's ready."
Joya smiles, "Great. How about you all grab your bags while I show Theo to the lab."
"I'll go with you," Dean suggests, stepping by Theo's side.
Joya seems to understand why he's going along, and they leave. Sienna, Cole and I go back outside.
