She lies in bed at night completely restless,
Her brain won't stop running-
Won't stop being hectic,
Won't let the gears stop turning.

She wishes to be filled with a beauty,
One that makes everyone go in awe,
One that takes your breath away,
And leaves you with a hanging jaw.

She wishes she was smart enough,
To know of all the rules,
That apply to life in every way,
And tell you what to do.

She wishes she was strong enough,
To never let anyone see,
Just how incredibly broken she is inside,
From everything.

She wishes she was confident,
So she could walk the halls without a care,
And never feel self-conscious,
About everyone's stare.

She wishes she was tall,
So she could stand above the others,
That have put her down,
Whenever she was around another.

And although she wishes for all of these things,
It seems she had forgotten,
That no matter what anyone says,
She's perfectly imperfect.

She has a type of beauty that not many have,
She's smarter than she thinks,
She's stronger than she says she is,
Because her confidence isn't at its peak.

But even if she doesn't have,
All the confidence in the world,
Even if she isn't that tall,
She's still a perfectly imperfect girl.

She is you.

You are perfectly imperfect. <3
