I woke up to the blaring of my alarm. Time to get Kamilla from the airport. I get ready and sit on my bed waiting for Ember. I'm so excited to see her. Since we have met we have become the best of friends. She is amazing and I can't help but miss her like crazy. Although, I am a bit nervous to see her 'cause I know Ember is going to say something. I'm going to get the look of disapproval and that is worse than her being mad at me.
"Ember! Are you ready?" I shout through the bathroom trying to be louder than her blaring music.
"Almost. Give me just a second," She shouts back.
"Okay."
A few minutes later she walks out of the bathroom ready. She puts her shoes on and we walk towards the parking garage. We get in the car and jam out until we get to the airport. When Kamilla lands she calls me and tells me what door to pick her up at. When we get there she is waiting with her luggage and I get out to squeeze her in a tight hug!
"I've missed you," I say.
"I've missed you too," she says hugging me tightly. We put her luggage in the trunk and Ember sat in the backseat while Kamilla sat upfront with me.
"How was your break," Ember asks Kamilla.
"Even though I had a lot of homework it is amazing to be with my family and do my homework around them."
"That sounds amazing," I reply.
"It was really good."
"Now we just have a couple of weeks until we can go home again! This time no homework!" Ember exclaims.
"Yeah! I can't wait," Kamilla groans.
"I bet you are," I tell her. "You're always doing homework and you deserve a break."
"Yeah, I think we all do!"
"I second that," Ember interjects.
"You're so funny! Most of the time you're sleeping or watching tv! I hardly see you do homework," I laugh.
"I do it when I'm in class or you're not around," Ember answers me.
"Oh okay then. Just thought you didn't have any," I retort.
"Very funny."
"Anyway, how was your break guys," Kamilla asks.
"It was good I love being with my family and friends," exclaims Ember. "How was your break Xo," she mocks.
"Yeah Xo, you haven't said anything about your break," Kamilla says.
"It was good." I grip the steering wheel really hard.
"You're leaving out a big part," Ember says in a sing-song voice.
"What big part?"
"She's talking to Ash again. No, wait no not just talking... dating!"
"SHUT UP EMBER," I shout at the same time that Kamilla says, "You're what?!"
"Yeah it's true," I say looking at the road avoiding Kamilla's stare.
"What happened?"
"Do we wanna talk about this now or later," I ask.
"Whenever you want to but you will tell me what happened."
"I will maybe just when we are with Nick. I don't wanna tell this story so many times."
"Okay, have you talked to him recently," Kamilla questions.
