PART 16

Aeris was yanked from his hiding spot, the ground disappearing beneath his feet. He couldn't even think of calling out for help as he was torn from the closet and dragged across the carpet. The boy trying his hardest to dig into the floor, stilling himself. Though that didn't happen, he wasn't able to do anything as he was dragged through the previously broken window. The men in question, tying his hands, wrists, and ankles with nylon. A cloth was shoved deep in his mouth, the boy sobbing pitifully.

"You've done well," he heard, the brunette freezing instantly.

That voice was familiar. It had been in his dreams, his nightmares and now his waking life? The figure stepped forward, a victorious smirk on his face and Aeris instantly remembered as icy pinpricks climbed the back of his neck.

"I thought it would be a bit more..." he paused to lick his lips, "Challenging."

"Granted my cousin is stubborn, he doesn't know when to stop or when to give up," he chuckled at this, circling Aeris in a rather predatory manner.

"I told him to give me what is mine," he clicked his tongue, "He didn't do that, so I burned down his territory and am currently exterminating any leftover survivors."

Aeris' stomach twisted in knots, he hadn't known these people for that long but they certainly didn't deserve to die. Neither did his beloved brother, who was also here.

Tears streamed down his cheeks at the thought of losing his brother, the figure who had been the one to protect him his entire life. Even Chase, though he intimidated Aeris and was unbelievably pushy... he would miss him too. Their connection was unspoken and now that
he had been introduced to the catalyst that was Chase, he never wanted to leave.

Damien was seemingly unaffected by the boys' tears, his grin growing wider as he approached his slouched figure.

"You won't have to suffer much longer, I'll put you in a world of bliss," he whispered this one last incantation as he pressed his cool palm against the boys' forehead drawing Aeris deep into the vast regions of the underworld.

-

When he awoke, the images around him were blurred and unintelligible. He could make out figures standing around, whispering menacingly as they watched him. He was barely conscious but even now he knew he didn't want to be here, this place scared him.

It was a castle draped in dark tapestries and ancient relics were scattered around the foyer with marvelous chandeliers and numerous candles to light your way, the dark figures floated to and fro, their purpose completely unknown.

Jolted from his stupor, he was yanked upwards into a standing position. The boy leaning on the closest doorway in an attempt to gather his bearings.

"Bring him in," Damien ordered as he opened his bedroom door, the deep mahogany gleaming in the candlelight.

He heard what must have been a chorus of yes' before he was dragged in, his body thrown onto a silk red duvet.

Gasping, Aeris dug his fingers into the fabric, the cumbersome walls seemingly closing him in. His vision focusing on one thing, "Damien..."

The male turned around, his gaze tantalizing.

"It's nice to see me again, isn't it?" He asked, a smirk on his face as he neared the boy, pushing his dark hair away from his face and exposing those blood-red eyes.

"I-I..." he rasped, Aeris looking down for a moment as he clawed at his throat, which was burning, horribly and he hadn't exactly realized until now.

"Oh that... right, try some of this," Damien mumbled abruptly thrusting a cerulean blue glass in the boy's hand, the deep red color of what was inside contrasting greatly.

"Is this..?" Aeris began, licking his lips as he stared down at the crimson substance, some of it coating Damien's pink lips.

"Don't ask anything you don't want the answer to," he replied with a scowl, getting up off the bed as he stood up. His intimidating gaze fixed on the brunette.

"You drink that and I promise that- nothing will hurt anymore, nothing can harm you, you'll be completely untouchable," he urged once more, hands falling to the hem of his shirt, tugging it over his head.

Aeris recoiled at this, almost spilling the contents of the glass.

"I-I don't want to be like you," he declared, mortified as he held the glass away, the farthest he could.

"Believe me," he grinned, pearly whites on show for just a moment. Aeris' attention falling to his lips as he spoke-

"You already are."

Then there it was again.

Clear as day, the pain.

The anguish.

Aeris shivered at the thought of it, his veins filling with black, his bones turning to stone. It was almost ridiculous how his brain blocked it out, completely keeping him from the truth.

Damien had bitten him.

Aeris didn't know it then but he had completely changed his life.

The vampire chuckled, yanking his hand away, that freezing touch disappearing from his brain and his consciousness.

"You'll have to be a lot better than that darling... because it'll only get worse and I promise that Chase can't save you," he threatened, hand grasping at the smaller boy's neck, pulling him closer.

Capturing his pink lips in between his own, as his other hand moved down to the boy's waist, yanking him forward with inhuman speed. His fingers gripping hard enough to bruise. His lips kissing hard enough to swell-

Aeris' cries were silenced as Damien kissed him with fever, the male pushing him back against the mattress.

"Wait... please..!" the small brunettes cried, as the vampyre pulled away for a moment, Aeris gasping as he tried to catch his breath.

The elder ignored him, his hands falling to the waistband of his jeans, yanking them down to his ankles. "I've waited long enough," he bit back, wrapping his forearms around the male's thighs as he hoisted him up, a deep blush coating Aeris' porcelain cheeks.

The last thing that protected his innocence, his virtue was gone, the moment the dark prince removed his last guard. Tossing the underwear down to the floor, disdain written across his face at the hindrance.

"No," Aeris choked once more, the male panting as he rushed to cover himself with his hands. Anything to keep himself from being exposed-

"Do that again and I'll cut off your hands," Damien reprimanded, grabbing the boy's wrist to restrict him. The back of Aeris' hands pinned against the cool mahogany of the intricately carved headboard.

Aeris shook his head, tears running down his cheeks as he tried to fight Damien but he was simply overpowered. Anything he could do to defend himself would be stopped by the lord of the underworld himself. The humans resolve was fading-

"Fuck it... I'll show you," he growled, teeth elongating as he dug his canines into the brunettes fleshy thigh, his alluring poison once again filling Aeris' veins as he soothed his own insatiable hunger.
