Zak POV

"Bro you good?" I looked to Aaron before looking for back down at the file. Apprently the place was haunted by a powerful creature. Rana was the name they heard. A name I had heard over years. Three years to be exact. I didn't believe she went to heaven, not even in the slightest. That's was when lucifer came clean. He in fact didn't even know where she was either.

"No." I mumbled and handed him the file. I had search the world for her. Lucifer even joining in at times. Though he was always quick to know if it truly was a good lead. I told Nick the truth and he left. The rest of the team found it as just more fuel to our ghost hunting fire.

"Do you really think she's even still on earth?" I sighed and sat back, clasping my hands together.

"I don't know. I honestly don't. Aaron I can't fucking stop thinking about her even after all this time! I date... I wine and dine.... I take the girls to my place.... I-I can't move on." I admitted as he sat down the file. My body tensed with stress as I removed my hat and tossed it on the desk. Running my fingers through my hair as I sat back and released a breath I had even noticed I was holding.

"I get it." Aaron wandered over to the window before rubbing his bald head. "Call Lucifer. See if it's even a good lead before we fly all the way to London."

"I already did. He said he was bringing his private jet to take us all over. He really thinks she could could be there. At least a piece of her could be, but hopefully not like the piece in Ireland."

"Guess I better grab my duffle bag and tell my lady I'll be back in a few days." He chuckled before pulling out his phone and leaving my office. Silence and darkness seemed to be a part of me now. Grey hair was daring to make an appearance. By my late thirties I wanted a family and to settle down. Maybe even travel less.

I put my hat back on before picking up the file and tossing it in my suitcase that was sitting beside my desk. I was always packed and ready to go when a possible lead was found. Then again we always had to be quick because surely Uriel was hunting her just the same.

"Knock Knock!" I was pulled from my thoughts to Lucifer's loud entrance. "We've got a supernatural sister and well lover to catch."

"You think if we find her she'll come with us?"

"I know my sister. She thinks by running that it'll be best for everyone. It isn't." He shrugged, his eyes sort of zoned out. "Uriel can be dealt with and you two can be together." A weak smile crossed his lips. I glanced past him to see Maze walking in the building.

"This better not be another dead end." A growl emitted from her throat as she glanced around.

"It isn't. Something tells me we we'll find her there." He wandered to my desk and picked up the file. " London was her home for over a century. She had a family. Two gorgeous girls." He swallowed back what seemed to be emotion. His teeth dug into his upper lip for a moment. "Funny enough they accused her youngest at the age of fifteen of witch craft. Rana rushed to where they were gathering to burn Annaliese. Her furry made even me proud. Hell got a lot of new guests that day. Yet her husband killed himself after seeing what she was and her two daughters fled in fear. Rana kept track of them. They had rich husband's in Germany and tons of land." He sat down the file. "My sister probably sees London as punishment. She thinks she deserves a never ending life of unhappiness. It seems to run in the family."

"Or she's running from Uriel." Maze nearly hissed it. "Angels are only not allowed to kill someone. There isn't a rule about torture Lucifer. Rana wouldn't abandon us unless she felt she had to protect us."

"I wouldn't want to think of what my brother would do to his own sister." I saw goosebumps rise on Lucifer's neck. Though I couldn't tell if it was fear or anger causing the reaction. "I say we leave as soon as possible."

"My guys will be at the airport. A few hours tops and we can roll out." I glanced down to my phone, typing up a group text. It read in summary, airport ASAP.

"Good they can meet us at the gate." I grabbed my keys and led the way out of the office. We took the company truck that would fit the small  amount of luggage and the three of us comfortable.

I'd never been in so much silence. Especially with Lucifer who was usually extremely talkative. However, what if Uriel did in fact get ahold of Rana. For all we knew she could be hanging onto dear life. Then again if her spirit was hanging around why wouldn't she just come find us and tell us.

I noticed my knuckles turning white from gripping the steering wheel. Lucifer cleared his throat and motioned to my hands.

"That isn't going to help anything. Trust me. Uriel feeds off rash decision and uncalculated moves."

Just like that we were at the airport and soon off to England.
