She stood by his side during the great rebellion, yet God did not punish her the way he punished his son. Sentenced to earth for her crime she lived among what God called his children. Every few decades she'd move due to the lack of aging until fina...
She's been back for a little over two months and Halloween approached. My favorite holiday by far if it wasn't obvious to the world. We'd been travelling back and forth from her home in LA and mine in Las Vegas. It was only recently that TMZ was starting to notice my immortal blonde beauty. It made her nervous to think of the possible attention. I was thankful they didn't notice the recent purchase I'd made.
"Boo!" She chimed as she walked into the living room, her wings out and fake halo above her head. My shirt hanging to her thighs as she walked. She flung off the halo as I chuckled and grabbed her hand, pulling her onto my lap.
"Let me guess. Angel?" She smirked as she made her wings go into hiding once more.
"I think I'll go for Dracula's girlfriend." I grabbed her chin, pulling her into a kiss.
"Perfect choice. I take it you're feeling good today?" She nodded in response before sitting back slightly, her arms still draped around my shoulders and my hands massaging her thighs.
"Yeah. Still worried about Uriel showing up, but worrying does no good except burn time." Rana shrugged before her blue eyes locked on mine. I nodded in response before pulling her into one of my bear hugs. We stayed there for a while, at least until the door bell rang. She got up and wandered to her front door.
"Hey-woah did we interrupt?" I heard Aaron and chuckled, standing from the sofa.
"No you didn't. Just waking up." Rana let him, Billy, and Jay inside. "I'm gonna go change." She excused herself and wandered upstairs.
"Hey, what brings you guys to LA?" I leaned against one of the door frames. Aaron grinned holding a duffel bag.
"We got the invite for the Halloween party at Lux duh! Morgan, Diana, and Victoria are all getting fitted costumes by Lucifer's staff. Rana didn't tell you we've got a appointment this afternoon."
"I already have my costume." I chuckled and motioned to the case on the table. "They came over last night. Rana didn't tell me everyone was coming."
"Surprise!" She chimed in, walking down the stairs. Rana was carrying a black box, surely with the matching costume.
"So what are you two dressing up as?" Aaron grinned with excitement
"It's a surprise but it involves real fangs." Rana showed off her long and extremely real fangs. The demon side so to speak. "Can you guess what my brother is being?"
"The devil?" Aaron chuckled slightly as did Rana.
"I guess it was too easy." She laughed before sitting down, box beside her now. "So Zak tells me you all are planning a investigation this weekend?" She'd gotten me. Checkmate.
"Uh yeah, he told me he wasn't going to tell you." Aaron glanced to me with a questioning look before an awkward noise that resembled a laugh escaped him. "Some cabin in the woods type deal."
"Interesting." Rana sucked her teeth to make a tsk noise.
"He didn't tell you did he? You just questioned me to see if there was actually a investigation this weekend." Aaron grumbled and rubbed that back of his neck before I nodded.
"Yup." I sighed and glanced to Rana. "I didn't tell you because I don't want you in danger."
"Danger?" She laughed loudly before pointing to herself. "An angel in danger? You promised me you'd tell me when you were going away and where. I can at least do my research." The door bell rang once more, Rana reluctantly going to check the door. She opened it and Lucifer strutted in, fake horns on his head.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year." He sang, yet only Rana chuckled.
"Luci this holiday has nothing to do with you. In fact it makes are job here way more difficult."
"Huh?" Aaron lifted a brow as Lucifer grumbled.
"Dearest sister always has the rain on my parade." He sat down and plucked the horns off his head, sitting them on the table.
"Halloween is well.... when human do extremely stupid things."
"Like summoning demons." Lucifer grumbled and crossed his arms. "The demons get stuck in bodies, symbols, and anything else really. Mechanical pencils." Rana chuckled slightly and sat down, sliding Lucifer the half empty liquor bottle.
"That was hilarious. He was really ready to go back to hell." She coiled to my side before checking her watch. "So is everyone ready for the Halloween party? The girls should be here with the limo any moment. Then the next limo will be here for you guys." She pressed a kiss to my cheek before grabbing her box and wandering to the door. "See you later boys!"
"Bye darling." I chuckled as she so cheerfully wandered out the door and then closed it.
"So my sister.... how is she feeling?" Lucifer leaned forward, snatching my jacket off the table.
"Her wings came back two weeks ago. She's doing fine." I sighed and leaned back. "I can't keep a damn thing from her. She's always on step ahead of me Lucifer." Aaron chuckled.
"She's ahead of all of us." He shrugged before glancing to me. "I didn't know she wasn't aware of our plans bro. That's how good she is at reading us." Lucifer chuckled slightly before standing, digging into the pocket.
"However you've managed to keep this a secret. My sister has walked this earth longer than anyone in existence. She reads humans like pages of a book. Yet when love is involved she's blind. Now let's go. There is a party to get to and women to conquer." I couldn't help but laugh at the devil himself. We grabbed our things and went to the new waiting limo. It wasn't till later that evening when the party began did I see Rana once more. Her blonde locks hidden by a wig, but her eyes are what gave her away.

"You look stunning." I mumbled, pulling her close to me. She smirked and pressed a kiss to my lips.
"As do you." We walked to the bar together, she ordered two drinks from Maze. "Victoria thinks Aaron is going to propose soon." She glanced to me before taking her drink.
"I can believe it. He loves her. Like I love you." I watched goosebumps rise along her skin. Love was her weakness only because she'd never gotten to experience it in this way. She handed me my drink before nodding.
"As I love you." I walked her over to one of the leather sofas, yet I stayed standing.
"Rana. I know you made me promise no big events or anything so I'm doing it as simple as I can. Will you be Dracula's Queen?" I got down on my knee, digging in my pocket for the box. It was a simple band, yet laced with black sapphires. Her fangs retracted and she couldn't even manage a word as she nodded.
"Mmmhmmm" I sat down and slipped the ring into her finger. She coiled to my side and sighed. "It's gonna be hard for us Zak. I'm well.... not dying."
"True, but it's worth it. Happy Halloween darling." We both laughed as I watched her admire her ring. I was going to marry the devil's sister.
