Rana POV

It was less than a week before I was back in LA, the piano booming as I entered into Lux.

"I'm a creep. I'm a weirdo." My brother's voice hummed, sending a chill down my spine. I left my suitcase near the elevator before walking up behind him, rubbing his shoulder. "My dearest sister returns."

"I always do." I leaned down and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"No greeting for the eldest brother?" I nearly jumped hearing Amenadiel, a giant smile crossed my lips as Lucifer huffed.

"Amenadiel!" I went over and wrapped my arms around him, sighing softly. "It is so good to see you. It's been weeks."

"Busy trying to clean up Lucifer's mess." I pulled away, a sheepish smile crossing my lips. "Let me guess. You have one too?"

"Well. I met some friends -"

"Our sister she fallen head over five inch heels for a human whose a ghost hunters." Lucifer chimed in before chuckling. He then returned to playing piano.

"Is this true?" My older brother crossed his arms before I nodded.

"As true as you love Linda." I sighed and sat down, pouring a drink. "His friends found a haunted place in Ireland. I hoped that you would agree to join. As you probably know where they plan to investigate."

"Where you and Luci fell out. Where I found you debating to destroy the whole damn planet."

"Ding ding." I chimed before downing my drink.

"You and Lucifer can't enter those grounds."

"Hence why I'm asking my holier older brother to come join on that particular adventure. I'm just not allowed in the house with well. Demonic me." Amenadiel sighed and glanced to Lucifer who was chuckling.

"I'd go, but can't interfer with shadows of myself. They tend to get offended."

"Then it is settled. If it's father's will then let it be done." I couldn't help but chuckle. Amenadiel had only been on earth here and there through time. He'd only decided to stay within the past few months since he'd fallen for Lucifer's therapist. Maze wasn't a fan, but she had her own prey on earth now.

"Thy will be done." I chimed before getting off the bar stool, a laugh still on my lips. I had to call Zak and give him the good news.

Zak POV

My mind was busy at work, reviewing the footage from the last few locations. I could feel Aaron's eyes on me, literally burning a hole into my skull. I pulled out my headphones before spinning my chair to look at him.

"Say it!"

"Say what?" He shrugged before I grumbled.

"Whatever is on your mind because your eyes are burning a literal hole into the back of my head." Aaron sighed slightly.

"Rana. What is up with her dude? You gonna tell me? Cause I'm your best friend." I sighed and leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms.

"I talked to her about it the last night we were in New Orleans. She said that it'll come out when the time is right. Plus you won't believe me till you see it." Aaron nodded, looking down as my phone began to ring. I spun back and answered it, clearing my throat. "This is Zak."

"Hey ghost chaser." I could hear the smirk crossing her lips.

"Hey, to what to I owe the call?"

"I talked to my ass kissing brother Amenadiel. He said he'll come to Ireland with us in a few months. He agrees that you guys shouldn't go, but I know I can't change your mind."

"We've been planning this trip for too long to cancel. We'll be alright. I promise." She sighed and then paused for a moment.

"I've gotta go. Lucifer is going to go help the detective so someone needs to run Lux tonight. I love you."

"I love you too. See you soon." She hung up as did I before I looked back to Aaron.

"Dare I ask?" He mumbled.

"Ireland. Rana isn't one to get scared easily, but that place scares her. What she said about it is true. Imprints of the devil linger there."

"And a sister?" Aaron questioned before crossing his arms. "How does she know all of this Zak? Doesn't it seem a bit suspicious."

"Aaron. If I tell you her secret. You have to fucking promise not to tell the others. I shouldn't even be telling you but-" I shrugged before looking to him. "You're like a brother to me." Aaron nodded, he was almost drooling with excitement.

"Scouts honor." He raised one hand with the other on his heart.

"What Lucifer said is the truth. Rana is his sister. Both of them are angels but you know the story. Lucifer fell from heaven and with him fell Rana. Aaron if you -" He tossed a memory card on my desk before nodding.

"I wanted to see if you'd tell me the truth. This fell out of your wallet earlier when we were at the dinner. Zak you're fucking lucky it was me who found it." He sighed and rubbed his bald head. "Rana is she-"

"Evil? No more than you and I. Except it bleeds into the environment." I sighed and looked at the memory card. It was from when I was possessed. "She isn't a demon. She saved my mother when she was pregnant with me."

"And?"

"And so I'm the only one on this earth that can kill her." Aaron lifted his head in shock. "I'm not killing her. I love her. Apprently I'm partially divine because of it."

"This is heavy dude." Aaron stood, pacing now like he did when he was nervous. "Do the others know?"

"Fuck no. Rana said you'd all find out in time. Aaron. She doesn't want us going to Ireland for good fucking reasons. She's even getting her older brother to go with us."

"She can't protect us?"

"Not from herself. That monster in that house is an imprint of a fight her and Lucifer had centuries ago." Aaron sat down again, cursing.

"You're lucky you're like a brother to me." A chuckle escaped him before he shrugged. "My best friend is dating an angel. Guess that gets us ticket to heaven!"
