Lucifer POV

I watched as my sister poured a drink at the bar. Zak sitting beside her, yet his eyes followed exactly what I had been watching. Shadows. How he was still seeing them was beyond me. He was human, mingled with angelic intervention.

I took a sip of my bourbon before standing from my throne. The music was quiet since the club was closed still. I chuckled slightly and it caught their attention. Rana was nearly glaring at me as I approached.

"How are you still seeing shadows Mr.Bagans?" He shrugged as my sister shot another look at me.

"Luci I've cleansed him every day for the past few weeks. What else do you think I should do."

"Push him off the building and see if he dies. He might not at this point." I chuckled, refilling my glass of bourbon.

"What?" Rana nearly hissed it. She stood and closed the gap between us. "What do you mean?"

"Rana. How did mother become the universe?"

"Dearest dad."

"How do we angels exist?"

"Dad."

"How is Zak becoming a... immortal... a angel?" She blinked and glanced to him before looking to me once more.

"Dad. He's doing it so I go home?" I smirked before downing my whiskey.

"Precisely. However, one way to find out." I went behind the bar and grabbed a steak knife, swiftly stabbing Zak's hand to the bar. He hissed in pain, yet once I pulled the knife out, our fear was confirmed. No blood. Rana bit her lips together before looking down. Zak on the other hand was in shock, lifting his hand and examining it.

"What? Was that some sort of magic trick?" Zak's hand was shaking, he ran his other hand along his palm. "I'm not.... I'm not one of you guys."

"But you are." My sister mumbled before downing her drink.

"3....2...1" I watched as Zak got up, still looking at his hand.

"I'm not!" Anger is something I understand so well and it was written across his face. "I don't want to be one of you. I want to age! I want to experience life." Rana got up, yet he raised his hand. "Please just, I need to go get some air." He signed, walking towards the exit of Lux.

"He'll go back to being human I think. The longer he stays away from you." I mumbled, my sister glancing to me. There was only two times in my life I'd seen her look heartbroken. It was when she was alone on earth without me by her side and right now.

"Luci. If he goes back to human, then I lose him."

"He'd meet you in heaven." She laughed slightly, tears were welling in her eyes.

"I'm not going without you. Not for anyone. Not even the love of my eternity." Rana stood, wandering towards the exit door, she stuck her head outside before cursing. "God only knows where he went."

"Oh stop bringing dad into this."

"Dearest fucking dad is ruining my life again!" She yelled, and I watched my sister's anger bubble. "If you had just kept your mouth shut." Rana was walking towards me. "We'd have never been on this fucking planet! We'd all be up in the silver city. Not a damn care!"

"And let dad have all the fun?!" I felt my eyes shift, this wasn't the smartest place for us to argue. "He forgot about us! Like broken fucking toy! He made this little play ground and shuffled us and mom off to the side!"

"Then came hell right?!" My sisters teeth turned to fangs, my hand went around her neck as hers went around mine. "I just want to be happy Lucifer!"

"Happiness is a illusion!" I fully shifted, my sister and I's anger creating a dark cloud around us.

"Stop!" Maze yelled, we both glanced to her, releasing eachothers necks. The cloud disappeared once more as Rana backed away. Our forms shifting back as we both took a deep breath. "This is what he wants! You two to fight and kill one another."

"That's dearest dad." I hissed, sliding to the floor as did Rana against one of the pillars.

"I need to find Zak. He's probably scared and concerned. He doesn't know what's happening to him."

"Neither do we though." She nodded before grabbing her bag. "I need to go find him and see where his head is at Luci. Imagine if he lashes out at Aaron or Jay or even Billy. He could easily kill any of them already, but if he's got the strength of an immortal. I've already got enough blood on my hands." I sighed, Rana pressed a kiss to my cheek before slipping on her sunglasses over her eyes.

"I agree. Calm him down and we'll figure it out alright? If Zak keeps fucking with ghosts he might have bigger problems on his hands. If they know they can be seen by him, they'll drive him mad. Imagine if the shadows know. They'd rule his fucking mind in a week. He isn't like us in that sense." She nodded, huffing a deep breath.

"Yeah I'll see what I can figure out. You hold down the fort." I smirked before wandering to my throne once more.

"Of course. Hell is on earth." She chuckled before walking out the door. Maze wandered over, bottle of bourbon in hand.

"You and Rana have stirred up way too much energy. Humans are turning immortal. What next? Demons start arising on earth with body forms?" I hissed almost, glancing to her. It was definitely a possibility. One I didn't even want to consider.

"Let's be a bit optimistic for once."

"Yeah Lucifer, king of hell and optimism. Sounds like quite the title." Maze was right, Rana and I were definitely too big powerful creatures causing rifts in the balance on earth.
