"Hi, I'm Spencer. I'm a high school freshman and, um, I guess your twin brother." He pulled me into his embrace and it was like two halves of a whole finally being put together.

The last 14 years of my life, I knew something was missing. Now, I finally know what it was. My twin. It doesn't matter that we're not identical; we're still twins. I can already feel that weird twin bond thing.

The smallest of the brothers came up to me then. "Hi. I'm Maxwell, but you can call me Max. I'm far yearz old!" He held up 4 fingers. He showed me the fun sized basketball in his hands. "One day, I'm gonna be really tall like Jake, Cade and Dallas and be the besht baskeball playa ever!" Oh my gosh this kid is too cute.

I looked behind Max to see a guy about the same height as Cade and Dallas towering over us.

"Ah, you must be Jake." I held my hand out to shake his.

"You are correct. I'm Jake."

"Got it."

"I'm a music major up at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts."

"That's actually pretty sick!"

"And I also coach a little league team on the side."

"Did not know that either..... So! You're Caleb right?" I said looking to the blonde boy standing next to him. I needed a way to change the subject. This one is also unusually tall, just an inch or 2 shorter than Jake.

"Yeah, I'm a music major at UNCSA too. We're both just starting this year."

"How you got accepted to a university, I'll never understand." Jake mumbled.

After the rest of my new brothers introduced themselves, they started asking questions about me.

I told them about my family and friends back in New York. Apparently, quite a few of them are musicians which means I'll fit right in, being one myself.

"I'd love to stay longer, but I have to go meet with my guidance counselor to register for classes." I told them.

"Any idea what electives you're signing up for?" Darrell asked. He'll be a senior at the same high school as me this year so I guess it'd be a good idea to ask him about classes.

"Well, not entirely. I know I'll be signing up for choir and theatre, but I'm not sure what else. This school is the only one in the state without an orchestra! If they had one, I'd sign up in a heartbeat."

"Hold up, they don't have an orchestra program?!"

I forgot the Sawyers just moved here recently. "What instrument do you play?"

"Instruments." He corrected me. "I play the piano, violin, cello, saxophone, guitar, recorder, drums, viola, and bass. Oh! And I sing a little too."

Wow.

"Which bass? Upright or guitar?"

"Does it matter? Both." Again....WOW. "What do you play?"

"Viola, drums, and I just took up the guitar. Oh! And I sing a little too."

He laughed, noticing how I quoted him from earlier.

The boys showed me to the music room. Seriously, can I move in?

Darrell and Caleb showed me some things on their guitars. Then Darrel switched to drums and Jake joined in on the piano. Spencer and Orange came too and the three of us sang.

It was like we were a band. For all I know, the five of them are a band.

As the song came to an end, I thought of a song that I couldn't help but try out. I showed Darrell the beats to play and told Jake what key to play in. I handed a bass guitar to Orange and an acoustic to Spencer and told them and Caleb what cords to play.
