"Hey! I'm Sabrina."Crap, we have a fourth roommate?
We quickly introduced ourselves and the 3 of us finally headed out.
"You guys don't remember Sabrina?" May asked while we waited for the elevator.
"No? How would we?" I asked as the elevator finally opens.
"Every meeting? The bus ride here? Our marketing class? Anyway, Sabrina is the absolute coolest."
"Why's that?"
"Well, for one, she's a junior." She said, like it's the most obvious reason. "Also, she's friends with all the hot junior and senior guys." Luckily, the elevator doors opened then, and our conversation was over.
After getting lost one or two, or 6 times, we finally found the right room. And after sitting in a room for almost an hour, we learned that advertising on social media is free. That's it. "Well, there's an hour of my life I'm never getting back." John said as we stepped back off the elevator to our floor.
"I know right. They basically just repeated the same sentence over and over again for an hour straight." I continue. "So, who's coming to the mall?" They all nodded and agreed to meet back in an hour. Beauty takes time. And unlike that workshop, I sort of care how I look for this.
Luckily, Sabrina wasn't in the room at the moment. I threw on a purple sweater and tuck the front into a pair of high waisted ripped jeans. I take my necklace and matching earrings, and pair them with a pair of black sandals and a nude color clutch. I finally start on my hair and makeup, which would take the longest. I'm still my lazy self, so I do my complete face of makeup, and make sure my hair is perfect, so I won't have to redo anything before tonight's opening ceremony.
I finish at exactly 2:55, we're meeting the guys at 3. So I grabbed my Forever 21 gift card I'm hoping to use, and we all finally leave.
It doesn't take long to get to the mall. It's right across the parking lot. This mall was the biggest I'd ever seen, that's why I've been so anxious to get here. It has 3 floors, actually 4 if you count the giant pit thing in the middle. There's a ginormous food court, a movie theater, bowling alley, video game arcade, and pretty much any shopping store you can think of.
American Eagle was the first store we passed by, and May dragged us all inside. Spencer and John stared at her, drooling, while she looked through the underwear section. Yeah, I know right? All while I head straight to the clearance section, and Kyrsten stayed at the very front of the store. It's no secret Kyrsten's family is loaded.
After less than 45 minutes of shopping, there was a lot of complaining. Mainly from Spencer. "Can we please go now?" Spencer whined. "This is the third store we've been to and you two have barely bought anything." He said, referring to May and me. I only got one thing, a dress from Forever 21. May convinced me to buy it after telling me there would be a dance tonight. I'll probably never wear it again after that, it reveals a bit more than I'm used to. Kyrsten on the other hand, had a huge bag of clothing. I don't know how she's going to fit that on the bus ride back. "Can we go to the food court? I haven't eaten a meal in a solid five hours."
"Do you ever think of anything, but your stomach?" I'm usually like that too, but never when I'm on a trip. It's like, my body stores up energy while I'm at home. Then when I go on a trip, I can go a whole day without feeling hungry. It's kind of weird.
"Hey! I'm a growing young man!" He said defensively as we stepped onto the first escalator towards the food court.
"Are you sure? We've been the same height as long as I can remember. And we're twins."
"You've only known me seven months! And in those seven months, I've grown a whole inch, thank you very much!"
"Hold up! You guys are twins? I figured you were step siblings." Kyrsten looked confused.
Before we reached the food court, Spencer set his eyes on something else instead. "Hey, who's in the mood for boba?" Spencer took me by the arm and hurried over to a little cafe, where there was already a line forming.
We get in line with plenty of people both in front and behind us. "Hey, May!" I hear someone yell from outside of the cafe. It was Sabrina, of course. She started to walk towards us and I noticed there was a guy with her. I don't know who he is, but all I can say is wow. He. Is. Hot.
