Aunt Mei is a hoe who deserved that white paint on her back and that is the tea also I'm posting today because I'll make an epilogue for y'all
Cyrus POV:
I picked up my phone for the millionth time, turning it on and then off again as I tapped my fingers on the table for a few seconds before checking it again.
'Cyrus!' Buffy raises her voice, 'He will text!'
I sighed, putting down my phone again, 'Buffy, the dance is Friday and it's already Sunday! Maybe he's not ready to be extremely public like that...'
Buffy rolled her eyes, 'Cyrus, he's going to ask you! From what I've seen he's completely in love with you and from what I've heard, he's a hopeless romantic and is clearly taking the time to carefully plan a promeposal!' She rested her jaw on her hand, 'Knowing Marty! He's seeking TJ's advice right about now...'

——————————————TJ POV:
'What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?' Marty repeated, massaging the sides of his head with his hands as he paced up and down his room.
I was sat on his bed, my eyes tiredly following him as I tried to calm him down, 'Marty, stay calm-'
'That's easy for you to say!' He pointed at me, finally stopping his pointless pacing, 'You have Cyrus who will be more than happy with anything you do because you're amazing at ideas and he's nice about everything! If I do this wrong then Buffy will most likely ignore me for a week like the last time...'
I shrugged, 'Hey, if someone got me a Christmas scented candle in summer I would be mad too,'
Marty looked sheepishly to the left, murmuring, 'I'm bad with presents ok...'
Standing up, I rested my hands on his shoulders, 'Come on Marty! You can do this! We both know Buffy is completely in love with you and couldn't stay mad at you for very long, yes, she's difficult and strict but that's just to keep you on your toes!'
'She's never said that...' Marty mumbled.
'What?'
'She's never said she loves me,' Marty elaborated, defeatedly taking a seat on his bed.
I sat beside him, 'And this dance could be a perfect opportunity for that! Just...I can't help you out on this, this needs to come from you,'
'Not even any pointers?' He pouted, crossing him arms.
I ran a hand through my hair, 'I'm sorry man, Buffy will know it's me acting behind the scenes, if you wanna win her heart it has to come from you.' I prodded him in the chest.
Marty made an exasperated noise before laying down on his back, 'I'm so screwed, my life is screwed,'
I frowned, making it so my back was leaning against the wall I asked, 'Did you call me over just to talk about Buffy?'
He sat up beside me, 'Yes...no...everything's just really hard for me at the moment but it should be fine soon, this just happens sometimes,'
'What do you mean?' I frowned.
Marty shifted in his seat, clearly uncomfortable.
Understanding what he meant, I patted his back, 'Well I'm always here for you, remember that...hey do you wanna go shopping with me for the dance?'
He smiled, 'Yeah, that would be awesome,'
We stood up, about to leave before Marty added, 'Maybe on the way we could buy something to help me ask Bu-'
