It was early the morning and Maya was up and going.
She had to head back to school and she thought she'll do it today.
She had already spoke with the principal saying she is coming in and he said it was fine.
Maya was busy eating some fruit she had cut up and drinking some tea.
She wasn't feeling like facing everyone but for school she was excited.
"Morning Baby Girl. You're up early," Katy said.
"Thought catching you early would be perfect. I have a question," Maya said.
"What is it Maya?" Katy asked.
"Josh is going to Philadelphia to help his parents and invited me for the weekend," Maya said.
"How are you getting back?" Katy asked.
"He is going to drive me back on Sunday. It's just for the weekend. What do you say?" Maya asked.
"If you must go, go. I'm not stopping you. I have to get to work. You walking to school?" Katy asked.
"It's a bit far to walk right now. Do you mind if I got a ride with you?"
"Then you have to face being half an hour early. Get your stuff," Katy said and Maya went to her room.

Off to see everyone after probably two months.
