It was early the next morning and Maya woke up.
She wasn't actually getting much done sleeping and she was just tired of pretending.
She wanted to just go back in time and stop that accident from happening.
She knew it wasn't entirely possible but she wanted to forget about everything happening the past few weeks.
In which she has only been conscious for two weeks.
She sits up and looks around in the room.
She is currently sleeping in Eric's room which is a lot closer to Josh's if she does need anything or is upset.
The house was build very strangely.
You go upstairs and the first room you see is Eric's room then right next to it is Josh's room.
You go a bit down the hall and find Amy and Alan's room.
Next to their room is Cory's where Auggie is staying and at the end of the hall is Morgan's room.
Then there is a guest bedroom with a bathroom on the first story.
Maya stepped out of bed and put on the bed lamp before walking over to the closet.
On the door was pictures of not just Eric and Cory but also of Josh.
She looked at the one where he was in the NICU when he was a baby.
She smiles as she realizes how near to death the eighteen year old was.
That she even met him was luck.
Maya looks at another picture of Josh holding Riley when she was born.
She was obviously a few days old but it was precious.
Suddenly she hears a scream and immediately knows who it is.
She goes out of her room to Auggie and sees that Amy is already there trying to calm him down.
Maya knocks lightly on the door and Amy turns her head.

"I don't know what to do," Amy said who were near to tears.
"Go catch your breathe. I'll try," Maya said and Amy was gone.

Maya also saw that Auggie was having like a panic attack but not really.
He was short of breathe, his eyes were already red from crying and she knew he had been up for awhile.

"Hey," Maya said and sat down next to Auggie.
"It's okay," Maya said as she stroke with her hand over his brown curles.
"Auggie look at me. You're okay. It was just a dream," Maya said.

She saw that Auggie was catching some breathe and calming down a bit.
She picked him up and placed him on her lap.
In the meanwhile Josh came to the scene trying to figure eout what is going on.
Auggie placed his head on Maya's chest and she started to hum.

"Dear Baby Boy.
You're all so loved.
Dear Baby Boy.
You're smarter than earth alone.
Dear Baby Boy.
You're never alone, I know.
Deep down there is a pride stronger than any kind of love.
Daar Baby Boy.
You are protected by everyone you love.
Dear Baby Boy.
You're never alone."

Maya saw Auggie was fast asleep and put his head on the pillow.
Josh walks up to Maya as she puts Auggie to bed so he can sleep a bit more.
Shallow tears start falling on Maya's cheek and she exhales.
She stands up and then she takes a deep breath.
When she turned around she immediately faced Josh who pulled her in.
She wasn't sobbing but she was crying.
She just didn't know what to do next.
She had to try and help Auggie while his grandparents had no idea what to do and neither did his uncle.
And to say the truth, neither did Maya.
